    Tom Gaylord tests a lot of airguns, yet these two stand out as his all-time favorites. They've stood the test of time and continue to rise to the top no matter how many other guns he shoots. If you want a sure thing, get one of these guns and the same scope, mount and ammo he recommends. You will not be disappointed!

    In a spring-piston air rifle, Tom likes the Air Arms TX200 Mk III air gun in .177 caliber. Mount a 4.5-14x42 Hawke Sport Optics scope in UTG high rings and then feed the rifle some JSB Diabolo Exact Heavy 10.34-grain pellets. While the gun will initially impress you with its beauty and superior craftsmanship, you'll be even more impressed with the incredible accuracy!

    How about a precharged pneumatic (PCP)? Equally as impressive and just as high on Tom's list is the AirForce Airguns Talon SS in .22 caliber. The scope he has on his personal gun is the AirForce 4-16x50 scope in UTG high rings. The gun has proven to be most accurate with JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo 15.90-grain pellets.
