I been thinking this rifle after I got and testing my .22 cal. Ben.Marauder. I asked many times PA sales ref. about this rifle and they always giving me positive and encouraging words and experience about the Hatsan BT65. I even search and see online U-tube comments and review about this rifle. Its big $$$ to spend for this rifle so I dont want to regret! Then I order one with all things I need for this rifle! I can say now is" The Best and Elegant Rifle of PA I can think of". I like all things about it!
Things I would have changed:Not even the loudness! that's tells you its powerful! Not the elegant and excellent craftsmanship! Not the accuracy and consistency! Not even the cost that makes it valuable...its a perfect rifle for a perfect gunner!..Boyet@Chicago
What others should know:If you have this rifle!? you looks more professional hunter and gunner.Even better rifle than Real rifle or fire arm! For me this is a first class rifle and the B.M is a second class.

I mounted a 3-12x44 scope. At 25 yds. zeroing in 1st 3 shots in same hole 6 more shots I was dead on ,Extreamlly accurate using jsb 25.4 domed pellets my indoor range is only 11 yds ,can shoot top of match heads off. Other things I like is adjustable cheek piece and butt plate has a nice finsh. metal magazines. adj. trigger , mine was good at fact set. going to get one in .22 cal soon.w full charge of air I was getting hi 990fps to low 918 fps in 10 shot string on chrony W 25.4 gr.pellets
Things I would have changed:Gun is heavy w/ scope . but mostly bench rest shoot
What others should know:gun a little loud. I replaced swivels. strap snaps, leave a lot to be desired. PYRAMYD AIR are GREAT

Is 1000fps too hot for a .25 calibre bullet? How accurate is this rifle compared to the Marauder?
Too hot? It only spits a 19 grain lead pellet that velocity. Use a 30 grain Beeman Kodiak pellet and you're at 900 fps, but more fpe.
Is the BT65 Repeater in Walnut available in .177 or .22 cal.?
At the time it is only available in .25 caliber
can you use longer pellets
No you can't.

The rifle is beautiful and seams very well made. It is also very strong and accurate. It's heavy but well balanced and the adjustable stock is great and not found on rifles at this price especially with PAs multiple discounts coupons coming out all the time.
Things I would have changed:The rifle is strong and accurate but the power drops due to no regulator so the pallet drops at longer distances. This was easily fixed with an install of a regulator made for this rifle. Since the tank is removable the installation is child's play. After that, I don't get the top power level the rifle can do but I can get several magazines of consistent pallet shots at any distance. I installed a Bushnell HD 3-9-40 and I can shoot several one hole shots at 30-40 yards.
What others should know:The rifle is heavy but balanced. It can be very loud for backyard shooting but if your neighbor is close enough to hear the shot, they are too close for you to safely shoot the rifle. This thing can easily shoot through fences not to mention neighbor's dogs. The rifle was a little hard to cock at first but it did get easier but not as smooth as I would like. Keep in mind you're cocking a rifle to not only load the next shot but to reset a heavy spring. The stronger the rifle sometimes means heavier springs and those can get hard to cock.
