Things I liked:This rifle is a well made replica that definatley fulfills the shooters inner John wayne.
The fit and finish on most all of the parts is great, the wood finish is superb and the gold finish and horse and coach detailing really make this rifle stand out from the rest.
The accuracy was excellent using only the stock iron sites

The fit and finish on most all of the parts is great, the wood finish is superb and the gold finish and horse and coach detailing really make this rifle stand out from the rest.
The accuracy was excellent using only the stock iron sites and I was consistantly able to hit targets smaller than soda cans at 30+ yards
The 8 round clips where easy to use and the lever action of the rifle worked just as one would imagine (well).
Things I would have changed:The lever itself felt a little flimsy and had some side to side slop that served as an anoyance when you took the time to enjoy the novelty of the lever action.
Theco2 powerlet assembly was also a bit confusing at first and i couldnthelp but feel like it was an overdesigned feature. A simple one cartridge powersource would have easily sufficed rendering the complicated assembly unnecasary.
I also noticed that many times when I would fire I would feel excess co2 blowing up through the top of the clip chamber into my face. This was merely anoying but did tell me that the pellet chamber did not seal so not all of the potential gas was being used to fire the pellet.
Aside from the above mentioned quirks I really have no complaints and am overall satisfied with this purchase. What others should know:This is a great young gun shooter because of the low velocity and good sites and accuracy. The powerlet assembly is a little complicated until you completley understand how it works but overall the rifle is pleasing and enjoyable to use.

The lightweight and handling characteristics of this rifle are attributes that really set this rifle apart from others. With the addition of the air venturi gas spring the rifle shot superbly smooth. Looking downscope I could actually watch my pellet strike the target because of the lack of excess vibration and kickback normally found in standard steel spring break barrel rifles.
I couldnt tell a noticeable noise difference with the silencer shooting lead Diablo match pellets at subsonic speeds and it definatley didnt supress the supersonic crack of the PBA Raptor ammo but it does look good if nothing else.
The stock fiber optic sites worked great, the included scope was easy to bolt on and I had it dialed in within minutes. The scope itself is kind of plain but it gets the job done for any serious plinker. I might reccomend a higher powered scope for hunting though. Things I would have changed:The trigger was smooth and crisp but the physical trigger itself seemed kind of short. I found my finger more often than not pulling on the bottom point of the trigger rather than resting naturally in the curve, a minor complaint remedyed by wearing shooting gloves but still a slight anoyance. What others should know:I dont understand Gamo, they should be touting this rifles superb handling characteristics but instead they completley skim over this feature in favor of advertising the noise dampener... which in all honesty didnt make a whole lot of difference one way or another.
Bottomline you wont be dissapointed in this rifle using the air venturi gas spring, it is a whole world of difference from shooting steel spring rifles that can only be truly conveyed by shooting one for yourself.
I am completley satisfied with my purchase and couldnt be happier !
Things I liked:These little pellets are great supersonic rounds for my gamo whisper. They make a distinctive crack, shockwave type noise when they go supersonic.
The lack of lead makes them very clean and hassle free to handle, this feature also makes them barrel friendly.
Accuracy was more than acceptable at 55 degrees with a slight crossbreeze

Accuracy was more than acceptable at 55 degrees with a slight crossbreeze hitting soda cans consitantly at 25 and 50 yards so im pretty satisfied in the accuracy department. Things I would have changed:Some where perfect shape while others where mishapen at the skirt/base causing an odd fit in the barrel sometimes. Better consistancy between rounds would be nice but I cant say im that dissapointed considering they come shipped in a plastic sleeve and not a more protective metal tin.
The only other thing I might change is to offer them in larger quantitys. What others should know:You shouldnt buy these pellets if you have money riding on your next shot but for casual plinking and showing off velocitys this is a great, albiet expensive but still pleasing pellet to shoot.
Things I liked:These pellets are practically clones of one another, I had to search through 3 tins to find even one with the slightest variation in form.
Accuracy is consistency and these pellets are VERY consistent. They have a good weight and the flathead design delivers plenty of force to the target. Havent used these for hunting but they

Accuracy is consistency and these pellets are VERY consistent. They have a good weight and the flathead design delivers plenty of force to the target. Havent used these for hunting but they knock down metal targets (spinners, soda cans and even small paint cans) easily at 75 yards (about the limit of my yard so I dont know just how much power these can deliver at a longer range).
The 250 count size is great for break barrel shooters and the small compact tin fits easily in your pocket.
While you wont be breaking the sound barrier with these pellets they are hands down the best target pellets out there, couldnt be happier. Things I would have changed:Maybe offer them in larger bulk tins or boxes. What others should know:
