The actual Chronographed velocity was above 500 fps with alloy pellets and over 600 fps with the mortor style plastic pellets from Predator. You can brace with your second hand by gripping the light mount. Things I would have changed:I added a second piece of Velcro to the bottom of the light mount to store the pressure switch for day use. What others should know:This is a great value with the velocity significantly under rated. Seven point one to seven point nine grain lead pellets exceed 400 fps in a warm grip.

Things I liked:Pump action, 10 shot clip, general feel. Things I would have changed:Stronger stop on fore grip to keep it on when pumping too hard. Different front sight setup. Hood for front sight. Ability to load without chambering a pellet. What others should know:Very nice feel and balance. Easy to stay on target

Cock with barrel up for more power, and down for more shots. GAMO Armor pellets work very well. You can single load longer pellets, but bet to use long tweezers.

Things I liked:The rifle is well built and allows you to mount a scope. Things I would have changed:Add directions for assembling and using the speed loader. Add directions for removing the rear sight to mount a scope with picatinny mounts. Show how to remove the front sight to remove distortion in the scope. Warn about overfilling

Add directions for removing the rear sight to mount a scope with picatinny mounts. Show how to remove the front sight to remove distortion in the scope. Warn about overfilling with gas. The bolt is sloppy. I would like it tighter. At 7 lbs 6 ozs without scope, bipod or sling, the rifle is not my favorite for moving around. What others should know:The magazine will bulge and either not fit in or not release if the rifle gets too hot with too much gas inside. Right out of the box, the hammer is inconsistent resulting in a great variance in velocity. The gun is certainly capable of putting out .20 pellets above 500 fps, but I am waiting for it to work in and become more consistent as previously reported. Consider the UTG M14.

Things I liked:The new variant has a raised wave in the rib at the breach. This acts as a rear sight. I had not trouble shooting gallon jugs and clay targets at 10 yards. The pattern is a pretty consistent 12" at 10 yards. I stayed in the 3/4 inch black bull at 10 yards using the Chamber Mate and .22 GAMO Pro Magnum Pellets. Things

The pattern is a pretty consistent 12" at 10 yards. I stayed in the 3/4 inch black bull at 10 yards using the Chamber Mate and .22 GAMO Pro Magnum Pellets. Things I would have changed:I found the cheek pad a bit too thick. The Shadow Express with the rifle stock did not look as good, but the sights fell right in line when I put the air gun to my cheek. What others should know:I found the # 9 shot would go right through the front of a plastic milk jug filled with water and dimple the inside back surface at 10 yards. Very easy to set up on a moving target. As an air shotgun or .22 pellet within 10 yards it is an excellent choice.
Things I liked:GAMO shows a 12 inch pattern at ten yards. I found this to be consistently true so far. Each shell holds about two dozen # 9 shot. I found about 27% hit inside a three inch circle on each shot at a gallon jug full of water. The shot dimpled the inside back of the jug at ten yards. Things I would have changed:I would

Things I would have changed:I would like to see a couple sizes of shot available. I would also like to see the rear translucent cup plugs made available so a person to experiment with different loads for different targets and distances. What others should know:Very similar to my .22 target with rat shot loads. Obviously less velocity, but still sufficient within 10 yards for soft targets and 5 yards for snakes and such.
