The GAMO Pro-Magnum ammo it came with was pretty deformed and subsequently inconsistent. Loading isn't too bad, but there's probably a better way to load a fixed barrel. What others should know:Not the best hunting rifle due to weight and slower loading. While I have quick reloading down pat, loading the CFX will never match the ease of loading a break barrel. BE SURE TO USE THE SCOPE STOP! I guess the thing kicks hard. The trigger wasn't too bad, but I got a GRT-III anyhow and it was well worth it. Can repeatedly hit same hole at 20 yards from the bench with trigger as opposed to 0.375" groups stock. I've been using Crosman Premier HP because it's readily available and seems really consistent in the CFX.
