Every time I go to use it, I have an oily mess all over and I have to wipe it up first. I would change the shape of the container so that it stands up-right. I like to keep the oil in the CO2 box and it would fit better (and wouldn't leak) if it had a flat bottom and could stand up. What others should know:Though this item works as advertised, I will not be buying it again and will try one of the other products out there. A leaking container, in my mind, shows that the manufacturer does not pay attention to the details. That is typically why I steer clear of Crosman and Daisy products in general.

Both the red and green dots are crisp and sharp when used outside on the lower power settings. When a power of 5 is used for both colors, the dot starts to get oval shaped but is certainly not a problem to use. When I use it inside, it works well also. I like that the forward screw on the mount is set lower so that it really locks into the rail and won't kick back. I found that this was easy to dial in. I installed it on a modified RWS P5 Magnum springer "handgun" and it really changed the balance of the pistol. As a result, I have had to retrain myself on how to shoot accurately. I am getting better but the problem is with me and not the red dot sight. Things I would have changed:I would prefer that the windage and elevation adjustments be external and not covered with caps. I don't like the fine threads that are used on the aluminum caps as they look too easy to strip out. I don't think any of of the other manufactures have external adjustments for windage and elevation either. I would really like to see a 2X magnification option. The Leapers catalog shows that they do make one but I have been unable to find it through any of the distributors. What others should know:This is the only red dot sight I have ever purchased and I am very pleased with it. I don't know why, but the BSA red dot scopes seem to be more popular on the pyramyd air website. I guess I don't know what I am missing because this is a very nice sight and was only $30. When I was doing research I got some conflicting information about the size of this. One source on youtube said it was 40mm and the part number does have a "40" in it, but this is definitely a 30mm lens.

What others should know:The shorter one has an aggressive taper to it. I assume that is to mesh with the UTG 314 gun. I bought these rails because I was adding a red dot sight to the RWS P5 Magnum "handgun" and I needed a weaver rail for the Leapers Red dot that I bought. I had to completely customize and Macgyver this rail to use with that airgun as it is not meant to hold a rail, but these worked perfectly. I bought these because they were the cheapest weaver rails I could find.
Things I liked:This is constructed very well and sturdy. Their is very little play between the joints on the legs. The quick release is tight and easy to use. I like that it can be used on several size barrels, mine is 0.5." and it holds fairly tightly, though not without a tiny bit of wiggle. If I had a bigger barrel, it wouldn't be an issue

Good value for the money. I recommend this purchase as the quality of the bipod is top notch. Things I would have changed:I didn't really like the shape and size of the feet. They got in the the way when I folded the legs because I use this bipod on a RWS P5 Magnum "handgun" with the legs facing backwards when folded and not facing forward like I usually see. So I took the feet off and replaced them with a plastic end caps and now I can cock the barrel without the bipod getting in the way. What others should know:The extension leg springs are under constant compression and always want to be extended. The range is variable. It is not a gripe but I would have preferred an all-or-nothing extension. As long as you tighten the knurled knobs down, the legs won't move. When you first take the bipod out of the packaging, it is greasy. Mine came heavily lubed on the extension threads and joints. That is good and it shows that the manufacturer is not skimping, but I had to wipe off alot of excess oil before I could start using it. I am new to airgunning and this is my first bipod. I have learned two things from buying this bipod: (1) I shot more accurate without the bipod so I have to reteach myself how to shoot a springer with bipod more accurately than without and (2) It was definitely a novelty purchase as my gun is only about 18" long and doesn't really need a bipod at all. I'm glad I bought it and I'm generally satisfied with PyramydAir but I do not like the $9 shipping policy and that it took them two days to package my order for shipment. PyramydAir is a great source of information but the shipping policy always make me look at other vendors first when I want to buy something.

Things I liked:I like the weight and feel. Very good build quality of slider, safety and hammer. All the moving parts fit snugly together. The "plastic" finish is awesome and very high end. Build quality is exceptional. Safety is tight and sure. I am a return customer to Pyramyd and highly recommend them. I still don't like the two-day-to-ship

The "plastic" finish is awesome and very high end. Build quality is exceptional. Safety is tight and sure. I am a return customer to Pyramyd and highly recommend them. I still don't like the two-day-to-ship policy but they offer expedited service for a premium price and I guess that is a reasonable compromise. I like that I can operate both the safety and loading lever with the same finger. The blowback action adds to the excitement of firing but as the other reviews wrote, it does come with a higher CO2 consumption. Things I would have changed:The grip is too large for my hand to comfortably hold and get a good bite on the trigger. I do not like that a tool/coin is needed to remove the CO2. They could have engineered a better solution so that an external tool was not needed and so that nothing hung down from the handle. The tool that comes with it is a light-gage metal that I already bent out of shape and it has a slot in the top that is shaped like a bottle opener for opening sodas and the like. The box that it came in is a cheap, flimsy cardboard and seems to be where the manufacturer saved money. The red paint from the box was all over the gun though it cleaned up easily. What others should know:It comes with one rotary clip but I recommend buying six more. I got about 24-32 shots out of the first 3 CO2 cartridges that I used and I heard a hiss coming out of the bottom plug. No amount of tightening could stop it. However, from the 4th CO2 and on, I have not had any CO2 leaks and typically get 7-8 solid clips worth of shooting on one CO2. I can usually get one extra clip worth of junky shots, misfires, double blowbacks, etc. I tried RWS hobby pellets and RWS R-10 match pellets and the results were pretty much the same, though the match pellets fit looser in the clip and were much nicer in build construction. I mounted a Leapers red dot scope on the front rail and that adds to the barrel weight significantly. It takes me two hands to fire this beast and I still am having trouble shooting consistently. My grouping is about 3 inches at 25 feet. I am pretty sure the gun can do better but the shooter needs more practice and strength to do better. I fire in an indoor range and hearing protection is required with this gun. It is quite loud. Overall, I would recommend this gun but I find that I spend most of my time loading the clips. That is not a knock on the gun, just the nature of the beast. Magnum Research did a good job with this product and it was a nice addition to my collection, but I am strongly considering the Drozd Blackbird with a Jim C barrel so I can spend more time shooting.
