Try the remote to make sure it works correctly before shipping. What others should know:When the remote arrived, I tried it and it wouldn't work. I thought maybe the switch was defective. So, I go to Radio Shack and get another switch and a 1/8 stereo jack. Come to find, the original jack was wired wrong. After replacing the switch and jack, it works perfectly. The only reason for the low score on "value for the money" is because I had to replace parts and rewire it before it worked correctly. After the repair, it's great item. I probably should have sent it back for exchange but considering what it cost, I didn't care to wait another week or so for another one.
Things I liked:Very nice scope for the money. Very satisfied! Things I would have changed:Redesign the rear flip up cover because it falls off after a few shots. Things I liked:Everything! Things I would have changed:??? What others should know:This is the second scope of this model. The first scope's elevation adjustment wouldn't work and neither does this one. Reordered a different brand!
Things I liked:This seems to be a very good scope. Things I would have changed:Nothing. What others should know:I had to the first scope back because the "elevation" adjustment wouldn't work. I'm presently waiting on a replacement.

What others should know:Right out of the box before shooting, I used a bore laser to check the scope "cross hair" to see if they were close at 20 yds. A few clicks up and a couple clicks left and the cross hair was aligned with the laser dot. I had this scope "dead on" at 20 yards after shooting only 5 shots. I've seen where some people have trouble with this scope. I had absolutely no problem at all with the Gamo scope that came with the Big Cat 1200. I highly recommend this rifle!
Things I liked:The Gamo Rocket does an excellent job in my Big Cat 1200. I've shot the pellets into a pieces of hardwood. The penetration and expansion is absolutely great. Things I would have changed:Nothing! What others should know:
