You could see and feel the bumps in the back of the trap and even dented below on the richochet! had to stop and save the trap for .177's. Seriously I have to find a real steel trap this gun will eat through sheet metal. Stll playing with different pellets premire crosman's domed best so far. Accuracy is me because good groups using a rest and resting in palm so freehand is me. Things I would have changed:Wish it had swivels to mount a sling. Using the gamo buddy but it tends to slide up a lot, better than nothing cause this gun is heavy to carry all day. What others should know:For the money, I really don't think you can meet or surpass this gun for power, serious impact. Varmints nightmare at a really good price! I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've had it 4 months and really impressed with the value of this rifle.
