Things I liked:Have a couple of these and find them to be durable and well made easly handles the task of protecting the rifle and transporting airgun supplies. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Great buy!
Things I liked: Ease of installation, price and good quality. Things I would have changed:Nothing. What others should know:Installed the Intermount set on a Benjamin Sheridan EB22 using a 2x20 Simmons ProHunter handgun scope. Seems to be a very solid fit, no wobble. Not sure if this set-up would be advisable on Benjamin

Things I liked:Agree with other comments on accuracy. With Beeman Crow Magnums, covering a quarter size target at 20 -25 yards repeatedly. Have owned this example since 2003 when it was named the Sportsman 1000H. Classic looks, power and accuracy for $150.00 are some of the outstanding attributes of this rifle. Upgraded to a Bushnell AO scope

Have owned this example since 2003 when it was named the Sportsman 1000H. Classic looks, power and accuracy for $150.00 are some of the outstanding attributes of this rifle. Upgraded to a Bushnell AO scope, just due to preference. Things I would have changed:As with all the Sportsman Series rifles, a metal trigger guard would enhance the durability and quality. What others should know:The Sportsman Series rifles like Beeman Crow Magnums and just like the RS3, makes for a good target and small game rifle.

Excellent for target and small game.

2. Improve manufacturer quality control. ( See comments below) What others should know:Mine was shipped with badly marred stock around the pistol grip area. Looks to have been damaged before it reached Pyramyd. If you purchase one, better ask to have the box opened and checked to insure you receive an undamaged one. A better scope, scope stop and ACCUSHOT rings has improved overall performance and accuracy.

Things I liked:This is a nice pistol for the price. I found the plastic detail of the body and grips to be well done. It will hit tin cans at 10 meters with regularity and uses the CO2 efficiently. The green rear fiber optic sight and the white dot target front blade sight lines up well on the target and presents a good target picture.

It will hit tin cans at 10 meters with regularity and uses the CO2 efficiently. The green rear fiber optic sight and the white dot target front blade sight lines up well on the target and presents a good target picture. Things I would have changed:Sliding the pistol grip rearward to load the CO2 could be a little smoother however in time, this will most likely smooth out. No other major flaws have been found in the short time I have owned the pistol. What others should know:Looking at this pistol as it came in the plastic clam shell, it begged for a laser sight on the included weaver rail. I searched the Pyramyd accessories page under laser sights and found the Crosman model 0423 laser sight. This unit fits very well but needs a thin shim for a tight fit. I cut a small section of the plastic shipping package and this worked perfectly. The on off rocker switch can be activated with the extended finger tip while holding and firing the pistol. The sight stops right where it should at the end of the barrel and has held zero after repeated use. If you want to go more tactical with this pistol, buy the Crosman weaver rail, the kind that comes on the Nightstalker TK along with the Crosman tactical flashlight. Both of these are available on the Crosman website but not at Pyramyd. The rails cost $5.00 for two and the light cost $15.00. The rails and light are of very good quality aluminum and nicely crafted. The rail and light can be mounted on either side. You will need to clip off about a 1/16 section of the screw to insure proper clearence. The rail will snug up very secure allowing for mounting the weaver 1 inch flashlight ring that is supplied with the light. You will need to center the rail and drill two 1/16 inch holes for the self tapping screws. Note, you will only be able to drill into the pistol slide about 1/16 of an inch before you hit a metal interior component. I mounted the light and rail on the right hand side, covering up all the legal disclosure language displayed there. This leaves the SMITH & WESSON M&P 40 logo visible on the opposite side. The safety also on the right side is not obstructed by this installation and remains functional. The end result is a nice realistic tactical looking M&P that now weighs more like the real weapon with better balance. Either way, in stock form or customized as outlined here, this is a very good bargin and all for well under $100 even with all these additions.
