Things I would have changed:A lower profile but it most likely wasn't designed to mount on the Crosman 1377. Which is what I did. What others should know:The sight is rather high and you may have to install a higher sight (or shims) on your sight at the end of the barrel. I have a Crosman 1377C with a 14" barrel with a muzzle brake on it. Also my receiver has a dovetail mount.
I replaced my fiber optic ramp sight with a new ramp on the muzzle brake with a dovetail slot and into that I put the highest fiber optic sight I could find. I got that at midway. It cost about 25 bucks not including shipping.
Marble's Front Sight .450" Height .340" Width Steel Blue 3/32" Fiber optic orange.
Marble's Front Sight Ramp .225" Height .375" Dovetail Slot for .687" Barrel Steel Blue
With the height of the muzzle brake and those two items, I was able to sight in at about 30 feet and five pumps on the gun.
I also drilled a new mounting hole in the new ramp because the OEM mounting hole is in the dovetail slot. I want the sight at the end of the muzzle brake. If you do this, a Drill press is recommended. It all worked out very good. All that makes this sight more costly but I didn't know it would be so high and I like it so much, I am willing to make modifications.

Things I liked:I have an older model of this and is very accurate. I didn't like the bolt on the old model. It would blow open at times. I squeezed it a bit with a pliers to tighten it up and that worked. I've been wanting the newer model for a long time. When I got the new one, I noticed that the spacer between the barrel and pump cylinder was

I squeezed it a bit with a pliers to tighten it up and that worked. I've been wanting the newer model for a long time. When I got the new one, I noticed that the spacer between the barrel and pump cylinder was missing. I called up Crosman and they sent me one. I'm going to modify this gun a bit. I've already ordered a better breech/bolt from RJMachine. Then, I want to get a custom trigger & sear spring kit and of course hardwood for grip and pump handle.
Overall it is a good pellet pistol. Lots of power and accurate. worth the money. Things I would have changed:Stop using cheap plastic parts. If this pistol had cost more without the plastic, I would have paid more. What others should know:There a many upgrades available through 3rd party vendors to convert this from a very good air gun to a great air gun. Just Google the model of this gun.
