Things I liked:I just bought 3 of these from Pyramyd for my 52, 54 and 460. This scope mount base is simply one outstanding piece of engineering. It absolutely solves the RWS scope mount creep issue and sends the RWS C Mount to that overpriced/underengineered dustbin in the sky.
Things I would have changed:Not a thing.

Things I liked:Great price only $49. Very easy to cock so it makes a nice training pistol for a newcomer or all day plinker. Fairly quiet and not much recoil for a springer. Comes with a spare spring which is thoughtful. Overall a solid design, decent trigger (given the price of the gun), fairly accurate with the rifled hammer forged barrel ... Read More

Things I liked:Wonderful pneumatic pump pistol. Great platform to upgrade, improve, and make beautiful. Accurate and reliable. Many aftermarket vendors, replacement parts will never be a problem.
Things I would have changed:I'm surprised Crosman hasn't used the massive aftermarket interest in their gun to produce upgraded versions ... Read More

Things I liked:Ah, yes...the air rifle of my youth. So what's changed in 40 years? Well you still get the wood stock and forearm with the XLS. It still shoots BBs and pellets but I wouldn't use BBs at all since I would not want to damage the rifled barrel. It now has a 5 shot magazine and a fiber optic front sight which is nice.

Things I liked:This little rifle is the best kept secret on the planet if you're an airgun enthusiast. I just received mine from Pyramyd last week and have only had a chance to shoot it a little bit. But my first impressions are; solid contruction, very nice adjustable trigger, fairly accurate right out of the box. The design of the gun is ... Read More

Things I liked:I have purchased the 48, 52 and 54 over the past few years and the 52 Luxus is the "chick magnet' of the bunch. The checkered walnut stock with the rosewood caps just flat out blows away the standard RWS beech stock. If you are thinking of a 48 or a standard 52 fugettaboutit get the Luxus for the modest extra cost you will get ... Read More

Things I liked:Great basic platform so much can be done to this gun to improve it and make it unique. Keep it simple or load it up with options. It is an accurate pistol with decent velocity. Add a longer barrel and get more punch. Dress it up with wood grips. Crosman's Custom Shop can add the upgrades or get them from many other sources ... Read More

Things I liked:I bought this gun because it looks cool. It's really just the 22xx pistol with a good looking beech skeleton stock. It's lightweight and easy to shoot. The scope that came with mine was defective could not get the windage to work, sent it back to Crosman got a new one in about 10 days. It's fairly accurate and only moderately ... Read More

Things I liked:Besides the 48 I also own a 460 Magnum and a 54 recoiless. I have a Luxux 52 on order, so I am pro RWS (more on that later). My 48 is .177 cal the others are .22. I really like this gun it is powerful and accurate. Cocking effort is relatively light and precise as only the Germans can do. Overall finish and feel is one of ... Read More

Things I liked:This gun is made in Turkey. It comes standard with a walnut stock with nice checkering on the grip and forearm, which is astonishing considering the $100 price tag. Hello RWS? Mine was decently figured but a bit gritty; properly refinished could be stunning. The bluing is even and mine came with a scope. Powerful springer decently ... Read More

Things I liked:This is just a great little airgun for the money. I bought it in .22 cal good for plinking and small game. Pretty accurate with open sights. Nice hardwood stock not world class but for $75 the rifle is hard to beat. Great for beginners learning to shoot.
Things I would have changed:I've never cared for the Crosman/Benjamin ... Read More

Things I liked:I purchased the Wells Fargo edition. Overall a very nicely finished rifle, as you would expect from Germany. The 8 shot magazine is a slick piece of engineering. Cocking the gun is effortless and the action is smooth and light. I own a Marlin 336 in .30-.30 and I would say this is a 7/8 scale version, lighter and smaller. ... Read More

Things I liked:This is a beautifully made German airgun. The stock although made of hardwood looks like walnut to me, nicely checkered grip and forearm. The gun is relatively heavy but not as much as my RWS 52 sidelever. I'm still breaking it in so the rifle is learning which pellets it likes. Mine is .20 cal which is a nice compromise as ...
