What others should know:These double wide rings are of the type used by "tactical" rifle shooters to grip their scopes more tightly. 3/8 inch dovetails are normally found on rimfire rifles that don't have a recoil problem. For this purpose, you are better off buying the single wide types which allow more room for fore and aft adjustment along the rail.
Things I liked:An ideal scope for .22 rimfire rifles and airguns. The optics are clear and bright. The mechanical parts seem to work OK, no problems so far. The lock-down turrets are a novel approach. They secure the adjustments alright, but you need a hex wrench to unlock them. Let's say I'm still getting used to them. Things I

Things I would have changed:The cheesy mildot reticle is definitely substandard. I would have preferred a regular duplex or German no 4 type reticle, but then some airgunners actually use the dots. The adjustable objective lens is very stiff and hard to turn. What others should know:This is one heck of a bargain for about $100. Leapers is aiming this 5th Generation line squarely at airgunners with its 10 yard minimum focus, but its just right for most any short range rifle. Don't let anyone tell you the Chinese can't make a quality scope. Next thing you know they will be competing with Leupold and Zeiss.
Things I liked:Relatively low cost Things I would have changed:I tested these in my RWS M48.22 from a rest at about 25 yards. Groups were averaging about 1/2 inch, which is substandard for this rifle. I didn't weigh the pellets, but suspect they suffer from some kind of variation that affects accuracy. I wish they came in a smaller

I wish they came in a smaller package, 'cause now I have a nearly full pack of 625 that I probably won't use What others should know:Crosman Premiers are highly regarded by other airgunners who have posted remarks on various forums. I was surprised at the second rate performance I experienced on targets. I guess every rifle is different and therefore "your mileage may differ". - CW
