I am able to switch between the scope and iron sights with this mount. Each time it would go back right where I had it zeroed. Things I would have changed:The appearance is a bit blocky. But even that is okay. What others should know:The space between the rings measures 2.28in or 58mm on my mount. This is useful info. Some scopes (like the 30mm Red Dot I have) have a larger housing that has to fit in here.
Things I liked:I wanted rings to mount my Read Head (Bass Pro Brand) red dot scope on my Crosman 2240 with the optional steel receiver kit. I love it because I can mount the scope in front of the breech. The scope does not block the breech making it easier to load the pellets. Also, the red dot scope needed the extra space between the rings

I love it because I can mount the scope in front of the breech. The scope does not block the breech making it easier to load the pellets. Also, the red dot scope needed the extra space between the rings (there is about 58mm space on this mount). Things I would have changed:I think the tightening process would be better and greatly simplified if the rings had only two screw on the straps instead of four. With four, when one screw is tightened slightly the other then becomes loose. You have to work back and forth repeatedly to assure all screws stay secure. I recommend using thread lock on all of the screws. What others should know:This is a rock solid mount for your scope. I think I might replace my rings on my .22 rifle with the 1in counterpart to this (Leapers 1in rings - Item No. RGPM2PA-25M4[PY-A-805])

Things I liked:I like this pistol because of its modular design and modifications, increased power with .22 caliber pellets. Things I would have changed:I found the rear peep sight not to my liking. Sight adjustment is a slot in the sheet metal sight and held in place with a tiny screw. I purchased the steel receiver kit and scope

Things I would have changed:I found the rear peep sight not to my liking. Sight adjustment is a slot in the sheet metal sight and held in place with a tiny screw. I purchased the steel receiver kit and scope mounting rings (also from Pyramid) so I could mount a red dot scope I have. The plastic grips have som movement which over time may work the screws loose, but I am already working on mods for replacing these. What others should know:If you planning to make mods such as longer barrel, I suggest trying to find the model 2250B. It may be hard to find but for just a few more $$ you would already have the longer barrel.
