Things I liked:Leave it to the Germans to make such a perfect weapon! The bluing on my rifle is absolutley perfect. It is like a black mirror. The cocking action is smooth as glass. The Rekord trigger is amazing. I upgraded from a Gamo 890s (junk) to the Weihrauch 97K, in .22, (!Thanks Dad!) last December and couldnt be happier. I have

The Rekord trigger is amazing. I upgraded from a Gamo 890s (junk) to the Weihrauch 97K, in .22, (!Thanks Dad!) last December and couldnt be happier. I have adjusted the trigger on my Weihrauch down to what I estimate to be 2.5-3 pound trigger pull. If you invest your money in this air rifle you will be very pleased. It is extremely accurate. At 20 yards I can hit .22 caliber pellets with .22 caliber pellets. At 50 yards I am a grape's worst nightmare! One hole groups are the usual with this rifle. The Muzzle brake is hollow and does significantly reduce the report of the rifle. This is a top notch Air Rifle that is beautifully made. Its build quality reminds me of a Weatherby Rifle. It has enough velocity to hunt and the accuracy to win matches. Things I would have changed:Absolutely nothing. What others should know:At nine pounds the 97k is heavy, but the benefit is a more steady hold and less movent during the shot, which helps maintain accuracy. This gun is sensative to your shooting style. If you hold the rifle a certain way when you sight it in then that is how you have to hold it every shot to produce the most precise and accurate groups. Try many different weights and shapes of pellets until you get the best groups. My rifle likes Air Arms 16 grain field diabolos. DO NOT OIL THE PISTON. I did and as a result my gun is at beeman's shop in california getting a thourough cleaning and their "Super Tune". The piston doesn't require oiling. If you do it will deisel and smoke and cause fliers in your groups.
Things I liked:The pellets are very uniform and appear to be very clean. The lid for the container snaps on, good if you were to put them into a pocket for a hunting trip. They are slightly heavier, 16gr., making them better for use in magnum springers. Things I would have changed: What others should know:I shoot these

Things I would have changed: What others should know:I shoot these out of my Weihrauch 97k (.22) I've tried RWS superdomes, Crosman premiers and numerous Beeman pellet shapes and weights. These are by far the most acurate and consisent pellets. They are worth every penny.
