UTG M14 Airsoft Rifle - OD

The gun - realistic weight, accurate, seemingly wellbuilt.

Include smaller battery - the included one is far too large for the compartment and absurdly difficult to fit inside ( I gave up and bought a smaller one). Include better sling - the included sling broke within 1hr of the gun arriving.

Feels like the one I carried over 40 years ago. Smooth oporation that is dependable. PRICE! Used weapons are the way to go because this thing was new.

Stock composition to accept paint. We tiger-striped ours in RVN and the OD and black paint stayed on the wooden stock. The rubber on this one lets the paint rub off easily. Flash supressor is a little loose and droops a little and this affects the trajectory of some of you rounds.

Don't kill yourself on trying to cram the battery through the little opening. I just carefully remove the two philips screws from the buttstock and have complete access.

The battery compartment is a tight fit only allowing the battery included or a smaller one in. The sling breaks after about a month. ive had the well mbo3 vsr 10 that shot 400 fps with .2 gram and it was outperformed by the utg m14. It is one of the most accurate aegs I have ever seen.

my gun that i got at least a week ago has already broken the safety jams and on of the gear box gears is broken

things i liked about this gun are it is a very sturdy, heavy-duty gun and is well made

i would change it to a wood stock and give it higher fps

the only problem with this gun is that one game i was playing my trigger jamed and the saftey went half-way inwards and i had to have my friend fix it

Highly accurate right out of the box, has great adjustable sights and increadible range. Very good bang for the buck, I have used it to take on friends with guns that cost almost 3 times as much and each time I have come out victorious. A great gun for many situation types if you like sniping it is a great sniping tool, or if you prefer to run in guns blazing switch to full auto and have fun.

The magazine tends to feed poorly and results in the gun dry-firing when in full auto for bursts that exceed 2-3 seconds. (I have heard tokyo marui magazines correct this problem. The stock battery it comes with is rather weak and will burn out if you overcharge it by even just one minute (i know this from experience) save yourself alot of headaches and buy a 1800 mah battery and a smart charger. (stronger batteries tend to cause more dry-firing on full auto).

The battery pack on this gun is very difficult to squeeze into the compartment and can even get stuck. Just use caution when putting in your battery pack and especially when you take your battery pack out be sure that you do not accidentally pull the fuse box out with it because it makes it a real challenge to put the battery pack back in and the fuse box itself is hard to put back in.
