I've heard that the frame of the Condor can actually flex or bend when it is shot causing a loss of accuracy. Is this true or just a myth?
It was true of the older Airforce models, although I have not really heard of that being an issue in quite some time.
Anyone shooting this on CO2? PA says "Over 1,000 shots per CO2 tank". Is that accurate? Getting hgh pressure air is tough in my area but I do have some (kind of) local CO2 refill stations. Thanks for any input. 700fps on CO2 is fine for my shooting. Pest control typically well under 50 yards, most often 15-30 yards. Thanks for any experience.
yes, that is accurate
just wondering where do the pellets load
Push the bolt handle forward to expose the barrel , push the pellet into the barrel , pull the bolt back , the automatic safety will be on , push the safety forward and your ready to fire. Repeat same for next shot etc. This is a single shot no magazines.
What problems are most likely with pcp guns and what parts may have to be replaced
I've had my talon and condor for over 10 years have not replaced any parts or had any failures. You pay a lot for them but you get a lot.
How much shots per fill at lowest and highest power? (.177 cal.)
They say with the co2 option you can possibly get over 400 rounds, never tried it so don't know for sure.
You can get anywhere from 25-50+ shots depending on your settings.
is this rifle better than sumatra 2500 25 caliber and benjamin marauder 25? why?
In my opinion only the talon and condor get more shots per fill than the other two, also depending on your settings. I have nothing against the other two they are great PCPs to. The air force guns seem to have more air storage to me.
It would be hard to say better because they all have different features. The Condor is single shot, the others are multi shot. But the Condor can easily be changed to a different caliber simply by getting a different barrel and bottle(depending on caliber). Both the Condor and Sumatra are quite loud while the Marauder is very quiet. The Marauder also sports the best trigger of the three but the condor is not far behind. It truly depends on what you are looking for and what you want in a rifle.
