Things I liked: i like the fact that the barrel is heavier than gamo, that it has a wonderful finish, and that i has a neat profile. also the adjustable trigger was one of the major reasons why i went for an rws.
Things I would have changed: have a raised cheekpiece, especially when the included scope rings is very high, or lower the scope rings. the plastic trigger feels funky, and i got a bad scope. where the reticle was damaged. also, this is for all spring guns: Start using real steel scope bases... there is a reason why see weaver and picatinny bases on things like .338 Lapua, and .50BMG. spring gun recoil vicious and needs a lot more than a puny roll pin to keep the scope from sliding. the scope stop pins are already looking like theyre about to shear off after a hundred shots.
What others should know: very accurate though it seems to need getting used to sandbags... probably because it is hold sensitive and i need to find the sweet spot. also beeman kodiak match pellets seems to work the best getting about 3/4 inch at 45 yards and i think it will get better with breaking in. once the scope base is toast, im thinking of getting it replaced with a picatinny base. using the leapers adapter seems that it will raise the scope too high even with low rings.
