Product: IZH 61 multi shot air rifle
Review entered on 2009-08-14 19:28:13Things I liked:Exellent accuracy, anti-beartrap works like a charm, trigger adjustability like no other in it's price range, and fun to shoot.
Things I would have changed:Stock is a bit iffy on sturdyness when fully extended, magazine is ok but could use a design change.
What others should know:Get extra magazines. And count your shots, until you get used to it a dry fire is very easy. And be sure to hold your hand over the magazine if you eject after only a shot or two, or it will fly into a black hole and vanish. And I have had great groupings with Crosman Premiers. Will not take heavies like eu Jin, they are too long for the magazine and you cannot insert it.

Things I would have changed:About 10% had minor flash on the plastic skirt, not much but enough to cause a good off-course pellet.
What others should know:DO NOT use in anything that will shoot it above about 600 FPS, any deformations in the skirt will hurt downrange accuracy, far more than I thought even. Although it was neat to see the bad ones I picked out go downrange like a bent arrow to the berm 200' away, it didn't inspire confidence that I could hunt with the good ones, even when allowing for zero expansion. Good for punching holes in your object of choice, but not a lot else.
