Things I liked: This is used on a Kimber 82G .22LR single shot rifle. I have no issue inserting or ejecting a round, it sits high enough for the round to go in. That was my biggest concern. When installed on the rifle, I can literally pick up a 13 pound rifle and scope combination just with two fingers between the bottom of the scope rail and the receiver, this is solid.
Things I would have changed: I have an 11mm dovetail on the rifle, and I really had to torque on the screws to get it tight enough to fit. I thought I was going to break it before it engaged the dovetail. I am concerned that over time this will become an issue, since I plan on switching between iron sights and the scope on a regular basis, and torquing and untorquing the unit may cause it to fail.
What others should know: Since I am not an airgunner, I can not speak to them, but those individuals who are looking for a dovetail to Weaver adapter for a firearm should take this into consideration, especially if you are using a large aperture objective on your scope. I have a 44mm objective, 30mm tube and am using Burris Signature Zee rings, and it's plenty high for me.
