Things I liked: I seem to prefer a "thumbhole" stock, and this air rifle has the best "feel" I have found yet. It has proven to be very accurate right out of the box, and as it gets more use, the accuracy continues to improve. The scope is very nice, and works as well on my 10 yard indoor range as it does outside dealing with critters in the yard..

Things I would have changed: The full length barrel shroud adds a bit more weight than I would like, but the trade-off is that is seems to help stabilize the gun when it is fired, so..?

What others should know: Very nice package deal.

Things I liked: EVERYTHING! -- Seriously, this is the best air rifle I have ever had. It was more accurate out of the box than some of my more "seasoned" air guns. The combo is excellent, with the Leapers scope being top notch, and the droop compensating one-piece mount makes it a breeze to sight in and it holds it's zero over time.

Things I would have changed: Nothing.

What others should know: This gun has the advantage of allowing you to have both "iron sights" (which are excellent) and a top quality scope -- a very nice combination.

Things I liked: Very nice cleaning kit -- it really makes it easy to start a good routine of mainenance for you air guns. Protect your investment in your AG's with a quality kit like this...

Things I would have changed: Nothing.

What others should know: It is important to use cleaning tools and oils that are specifically for air guns -- it may not be obvious, but cleaning rods & brushes for powder burners are NOT the same size and could harm the rifling in your barrel...

Things I liked: It is great when a product simply works as it should -- no fuss, no problems. These rings are like that, and a good value on top of that... I am very pleased with them, as they added the extra height to my scope to make it a more natural sight line when I settle into the gun to shoot.

Things I would have changed: NOTHING!

What others should know: Just that these are a good value and high quality -- try them, you will NOT regret it...

Things I liked: I know that Crosman pellets may not have the "cool factor" of some of the more exotic brands, but the value for the money makes up for that. These pellets are a good economical choice for backyard plinking or eliminating backyard pests.

Things I would have changed: A small bit more weight would help with the impact power for pests like Starlings, etc...

What others should know: Don't forget to take advantage of the "free 4th tin" when you buy 3 tins of pellets -- that just makes a good value better, and covers the cost of shipping...

Things I liked: Right out of the box, this air rifle was accurate -- within the first 100 shots, it is already capabable of producing dime size groups at 10 yards shooting offhand with no rest or support! I was confident the gun would be "good" since I took advantage of Pyramid Air's "10 for 10$" service, but this is far better than expedted!

Things I would have changed: As with almost all Crosman air rifles, the trigger has an excessively long second stage, which adds an extra "challenge" to accurate shooting, but that was known in advance -- I only wish Crosman would improve on this trigger...

What others should know: The Nitro Venom represents a very good value, and delivers great performance, accuracy, and a lower than normal noise level.

Things I liked: For the price, these pellets deliver accuracy and performance. Every air rifle seems to have it's own personality, and thus may "like" different pellets, but I've found that if I have a supply of these Beeman hollow points and the ever popular Crosman hollow points, one or the other will make my air guns "happy".

Things I would have changed: For me, I would prefer to have a tin with a "screw-on" lid so it is a bit more secure when carrying them around...

What others should know: Nothing...

Things I liked: This chrony simply WORKS! The "Quick Start" instructions got me using it quickly, and the detailed user manual has answered any questions I had. This unit was easy to setup and has worked flawlessly for me -- what more could you ask for?

Things I would have changed: Nothing.

What others should know: I tried a "cheaper" unit from an online company and although it worked, it was terribly picky and hard to get to work consistently -- shots had to be aimed with great care to avoid errors, etc. This Shooting Chrony Beta has worked so smoothly and consistently I wish I had never tried the "cheaper" unit, which turned out bo be a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor - get a Shooting Chrony and start out "right"...

Things I liked: This scope is a perfect example of "just right" for my airgun shooting. I have found that more fancy scopes with additional features are too heavy and don't really add anything NECESSARY for good shooting performance. This scope combines the simplicity of 4x power (I find I don't need variable power scopes for most of my airguns) with the super valuable Adjustable Objective (AO) functionality.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: Just buy it -- you won't regret it! I liked mine so much I have already ordered another one for another of my air rifles!

Things I liked: Extremely solid mount for installing a scope on a "springer" airgun, eliminates many possible sources of damage to the scope due to it's one-piece design.

Things I liked: I resisted the urge to try something like this and told myself I didn't "need" it -- I was wrong! This handy tool eliminates the funbling with a tin while hunting, and adds the advantage of consistently seated pellets every time for greater accuracy.

Things I would have changed: Nothing except possibly use more of a "camo" color for when hunting..?

What others should know: Buy it -- you won't regret it.

Things I liked: I am very imprssed with this "new generation" Gamo airgun! The IGT gas-piston system is smooth and powerful, and a huge improvement over the "twang", noise, etc. associated with spring-pistons... The new trigger is another huge improvement over the older version. All of this combine with the relative light weight of this airgun to create an easy-to-carry airgunthat has GREAT accuracy.

Things I would have changed: Sling mounts would be nice when the airgun is used for hunting..?

What others should know: In preliminary testing, with a number of different pellet designs, the airgun consistently produced groups less than 1/2" at 10 yards -- that is as good as any airgun I own!

Things I liked: The "Doomsday" concept adds a bit of "fun factor" to this package. The airgun/stock combo works well, and makes for an easy to carry, assemble, load/pump/shoot package. Accuracy is as good as could be expected for a short-barrel "carbine", and the .22 caliber adds impact on the target. I, personally, like the accessories, as it is nice to have a first aid kit "just in case", and the water bottle can come in handy when hunting or just roaming the woods "plinking" - the same is tru for the targets.

Things I would have changed: It would be nice, and fit the "doomsday" image better if the backpack was in "camo" or at least an earthtone (tan, green, or brown). Black is an un-natural color, and isn't good for the woods, etc..

What others should know: Nothing I can think of...

Things I liked: I am able to just go down to my garage and practice - no long drive to the gun range, etc. Also no need for expensive ammo. In a recent practice session, I fired 4 groups of 18 BB's (the magazine capacity is 18 BB's). I should note that, with this "blowback" style pistol, the action is super realistic, with a perceived recoil from the cycling of the slide being very similar to a 22LR pistol. That helps with the realism of the practice, but it also shortens the amount of practice for a single 12gram CO2 cartridge. In this session for example, the 1st three groups of 18 shots were fairly consistent, but during the 4th group, the performance really fell off rapidly, and by the end of the group, the CO2 was "flat" and wouldn't cycle the slide. (Note: Another nice "realism" touch is that, when the magazine is empty of BB's, the slide locks back just like the real thing.)

Things I would have changed: Nothing really - perhaps add adjustable rear sight, but that would also add cost?

What others should know: The bottom line is that I am able to get in about 70 good practice shots before the CO2 gives out, I didn't have to drive anywhere or make a lot of noise, and the total cost (for BB "ammo", one CO2 cartridge, and the target) is a total of just over $1.00.... How cool is that...? Anyway if you want a way to get in good target practice, I recommend this approach...

Things I liked: This economical pistol has the look and feel of the real thing. The 3-dot sights are surprisingly good, allowing accurate shooting. Right out of the box, I was able to shoot 4 full loads of BB's into a group of about 4" at a distance of 15'. Most of those shots were within 2" - amazing accuracy for an under $40 "BB pistol". A single CO2 cartridge seems to last forever - I seriously doubt I will every truly "use" a full cartridge in a shooting session! Overall fit and finish seems good, and the metal slide is a nice touch, but it is only cosmetic - it can be manually "racked" to cock the hammer, allowing single action firing, but the gun is not a "blowback" design, so unless you are willing to manually cock the hammer for each shot, the gun is effectively double action only.

Things I would have changed: For the money, the only change I would want to see made would be to improve the trigger. I found the trigger to be very stiff and not "smooth" enough to allow shooting comfort. My trigger finger actually got tired and hurt from the effort required to shoot 4 magazines of BB's in a single session. If the gun were to be made into a blowback design, it would be a huge improvement, but that would also probably almost double the retail price, so...?

What others should know: Overall, this airgun, even with the existing trigger is a viable option for target practice indoors as an alternative to "powder burners". That alone is a huge plus for those who, like me, live where the cold winters severely restrict time on outdoor ranges, or those looking to reduce cost of shooting for proficiency. An entire target shooting session will cost less than a single round of 9mm centerfire ammo...

Things I liked: This rifle has the look and feel of a Ruger 10-22, and really delivers on all the promises in the literature. Mine was able to shoot nickel sized groups (12 shots) right out of the box, and was within an inch of "dead on" in my little indoor range. Not an airgun for hunting "critters" (I have break-barrel air rifles for that), but PERFECT for target shooting and plinking. It is winter here now, and range time with firearms is not really an option due to the weather - this rifle will allow me to practice indoors in my nice warm basement... NICE!

Things I would have changed: Since the front sight has the nice "fiber optic"/"glow" for visibility, it might be nice of the rear sight also had that design. In low light situations, the rear sight can be a bit hard to see... Not a bit "problem", just something I might want to see different...

What others should know: Plan to stock up on pellets and CO2, because this rifle is addicting, and you will be spending a lot of FUN time shooting...

Things I liked: Everything - I use this as an "at-home" practice option for my small "summer carry" firearm... Save trips to the range, and is very realistic practice....

Things I would have changed: I do wish it reproduced the slightly newer version of the PPS, which uses the more standard mag release button configuration...

What others should know: Buy a pair of extra magazines, so you can load them and the included mag for a good practice session... This lets you just go into the garage, shoot close to 60 "rounds" downrange at the target, with no need to stop to reload BB's into the magazines - I find that a 3 magazine session is about right - you can shoot more than that on one CO2 cartridge, but it does fade after 3 magazines.....

Things I liked: Very, very true to the "real thing" - I can even use my Crossbreed IWB concealed carry holster - it fits perfectly..! Very realistic fit, feel, and operation...

Things I would have changed: I do wish the magazine had a way to "lock" the follower to make it easier to load BB's - the spring is quite strong, and it can be hard to hold the follower down while loading. Not a "big deal", just a "nice to have"....

What others should know: NO - this is a very good pistol...

Things I liked: It has the "look" and ALMOST the "feel" of the real thing, and is accurate and gets a lot of shooting out of a single CO2 cartridge since it is not a blowback design. The BB magazines have a nice "locking" feature for the follower to allow you to load BB's easier - very nice feature.

Things I would have changed: Blowback would be nice, but would add a lot to the price, so I am OK with it as-is. A bit more weight would make it "feel" more realistic...

What others should know: Buy a couple extra magazines - it makes practice time on the range better because you can load the magazines in advance, step into the range and punch paper for a good practice session without interruption....

Things I liked: I really like the "feel" and the weight of this pistol - it really feels like the real thing in you hand, and that adds to the realism at the range. It is reasonable accurage as long as you "rest" it between shots and between magazine reloads... Having the hex wrench for the CO2 holder is a nice touch - you won't leave it on the workbench when you go to the range...

Things I would have changed: Due to the weight of the slide, and the hard, realistic, blowback, it does tend to be a bit short on CO2 cartridge "life", but that can be mitigated as mentioned above.

What others should know: Since you need to let the CO2 "rest" between magazines during practice, there isn't much of an advantage to buying extra magazines, so save your money unless you simply prefer to be able to reload at the workbench before the trip into the garage for a practice session...

Things I liked: These magazines are much improved over older generation BB pistol magazines - one key improvement is the way the follower can be locked down to make loading go much easier....

Things I would have changed: Nothing.

Things I liked: I really like this pistol! Good fit and feel in the hand, very realistic, which makes it a good option for low cost target practice... I can go downstairs and shoot over 50 "rounds" of practice and the total cost is less than one dollar for pellets, CO2, and a target... Compared to spending $50 on centerfire ammo for a 9mm pistol and having to drive to a range, etc. that is FANTASTIC..! Accuracy seems to be quite good, also which makes the target practice that much more valuable... This pistol seems to be reasonable in it's use of CO2 - I get a full practice sessions of 3 magazines with very consistent pellet velocity - if you are just "plinking", you can get much more than that...

Things I would have changed: Nothing...

What others should know: Save on shipping - when you order your P250, also order the 2-pack of additional magazines so you can load 3 magazines before you step into the garage (or wherever you "range" is) and they you can practice without any interruption... Well worth the cost of the extra magazines....
