Things I liked:Awe some finish, good bluing and feels real good when shouldered. This rifle is excellent for long range shooting, I have shot a very close group at 25 yards, and it shoots consistently. It is also not very loud and you can use for back yard plinking as well. All weather stock is good finish and different from wood, this material is less prone to scratches etc as compared to wood.
Great job done by Fedex and Pyramyd air to ship this to India within 9-10 days, totally hassle free job, I had also purchased a Sumatra and a Beeman P17 when I was in the US from them, best folks for air gunners. Things I would have changed:Two things, one the scope is not really too good and tends to loosen up after 500 or so shots, also safety could have been automatic, yes one more, once cocked if the breech is open and safety off you can shoot it which is bad for the springs, seals etc, if the breech is open the rifle should not be able to take the trigger and not shoot at all.
Things I liked:Great finish, smooth cocking effort, very accurate and consistent shots. This is real value for money air rifle, comes bundled with a scope. Scope is not too great but does the job. It has a stop pin slot which is good on springers. Very light weight and come to the shoulder easily.Shrouded barrell gives a good feel. All weather stock is also a good feature. Things I would have changed:Nothing, except maybe the safety could be automatic engage on cocking. What others should know:Allow the gun to settle in with approx 50 shots, tighten the bolts on the scope once u get the gun, do a fresh sighting in and enjoy. Great job being done by folks at Pyramyd air for getting us such lovely air guns.
Things I liked:Absolute value for money, I had got this ground shipped to me when I was visiting the USA, in October 2010. Marvellous service by folks at Pyramyd air. Came pre tested and mounted with a laepers scope. Perfectly sighted in and accurate to the bulls eye. This is a sheer pleasure to shoulder air rifle, in fact this is the big daddy of them all, very powerful, loves heavier pellets, easy to shoulder, dead accurate. Lovely repeating action, and good 30-40 shots on lower power settings, 3-4 setting of 13 settings. Very varsitile, can be used for back yard plinking or long range hunting with variable power. The revolver action is smooth jam free no hassles. Fit and finish is so good U can display in your living room as a show piece. Am sure this will give years of shooting pleasure. I have shot upto 300 yards also the drop is approx 2-3 feet at that range on medium power, but at that range also the pellet nicks the plaster off a wall which u can see through the scope. Things I would have changed:Revolver should not rotate once a pellet has been fed in, if not careful u can jam 2 pellets one after another and jam the barrell.
Safety can be automatic, and the instruction manula should be more comprehensive, it is totally basic and U cannot make out anything from it, lots of confusion on what is high , medium and low settings, conflicting views on net also, I tried my self and realised that the small dots direction is lower and large dot is higher.
The dust cap on the fill probe area is loose and about 100 shots later just pops off, can be improved What others should know:Buy a Air venturi G4 hand pump and fit the fill probe onto the hose directly , tighten with a wrench, not adaptor is required, works smoothly, have used only that for refilling, no hassles, yes refill once U are in the lower side of green zone, less efforts required to pump upto the red zone, only pump upto the 200 bar , check the pump's gauze not rifle's as rifle gauze is not too accurate..
