Things I liked:Light, short, nice quality, powerful in .22 cal, tuneable, comes with 2 magazines Things I would have changed:Detuned from factory a little for better shot count, quieter What others should know:This rifle is powerful out of the box. Mine was putting out 50fpe with JSB monster 25 grain pellets. Downside is you get about 2 magazines max before having to refill. It is not backyard friendly, sounds like s .22LR firing. I am sending mine out to be retuned and have a cusrom exteneded shroud installed to quiet it down.
Things I liked:I got this as part of the package deal with my Marauder .177. It worked for about a month and them wouldn't draw air in like others have commented about. Things I would have changed:I would upgrade to the Hill pump instead of getting this one again. It is worth the extra money to get a higher quality more reliable pump to start with. The Hill pump is also much easier to rebuild and all of the parts are avaible from Pyramid Air. What others should know:After doing some research on line this is a common issue with this pump. I did a rebuild myself to save time, the 3rd stage o-ring is the common failure point, I picked up the rebuild kit on line and used a high quality molly grease on the o-rings, also removed the water build I found inside the pump tubes. To prevent this in the future I added a water absorption filter between the pump base and brass screen air filter. Now it works like a champ and pumps much easier. Apparently the cheap lube used by the factory along with moisture entering the pump deteriorates the o-rings very quickly. If these simple steps wouuld have been done by Crosman it would make this a nice pump for the price. At the time I had no backup so i couldn't use my PCP rifles until I fixed it myself. Since them I have picked up a Hill pump and keep this as backup.
Things I liked:Light, makes filling a PCP a breeze, high number of fills per charge Things I would have changed:Lower cost since cost is a little prohibitive for most. Definately take advantage of sales when possible. What others should know:These are an almost must have if you have a PCP with a high capacity air tank/tube. Filling with a pump works but takes a while and gets old over time. With one of these it takes lless than 30 seconds to top off your PCP.
