Product: Stoeger Arms X20S Suppressor Air Rifle
Review entered on 2012-07-02 23:05:37Things I liked:Its very accurate, once you can do a little trigger work. I like the weight of the gun. It is a lot heavier than my buddy's gamo rifle and that makes it feel more "real" and makes it easier for me to steady the gun. The stock is quite nice, the cocking, mechanism is smooth and sturdy. I was looking for a solid, reliable shooter that will last me for years....this is the gun I was looking for. The scope is nice for the money. In low light, it is a big step up from what is mounted to my buddy's gamo whisper. His is very soft and out of focus in low light...this 4x scope is quite bright and performs much better than I ever expected it would. The lighted reticle is super cool in low light, the red being much better than the green in my opinion.
Things I would have changed:The trigger is the worst part of the gun. I am used to shooting firearms at distance with approx 2 lb triggers. This registered about 5 lbs via my digital trigger pull gauge. I installed a Charlie DA Tuna trigger and it is now in the 3 lb range. With some more work, it will be under 3 and perfect. The stock trigger is not bad....just "typical" at best. Know that for about $30, you can upgrade this good gun to a really good gun.
What others should know:I have smoked over 40 chipmunks and 10 squirrels in the past two weeks....virtually eliminating my garden and landscape problems. Squirrel head shots at 30+ yards? Not a problem. I am ALMOST sad that I am ruing out of targets! I have about 400 rounds thru it so far between plinking and hunting. This is an excellent value and I have already recommended it to a couple of buddy's.....especially the gamo guys. I will replace the scope but only because I will have a better one available due to another upgrade on a different gun I own. Otherwise I would keep the included scope. This is a great package!

Things I would have changed:Came with oil but no cleaner. No bore mop. Now i have to buy that separately.wish it came with a nylon brush instead of the brass brush. Brass seems harsh for shallow air gun rifling. Decent enough starter kit...just know you will need additional pieces to have a fully functional kit.
