Things I liked:Esthetically, these pellets are very appealing, but not limited to just beauty alone. These pellets come in a single layered tray, face down, which reflects the due care and attention employed by RWS while manufacturing.
Compared to other alloy pellets such as the crosman SSP, these pellets are far superior in feel, shape, and performance. They are not mailable and easily squashed.
Over all performance, I would say, during usage with high power air rifles (1200 fps), I get great shot distances with relative ease compared to other alloy pellets and lead pellets.
Power, weight, and performance is all adequately maintained over distances in the 30-35 meter range (100 + feet). Things I would have changed:Although performance is good compared to lead pellets; I would say the one thing I would change is price. However, this could be due to the retailers sell-point price ($ 20 bucks at Cabela's in Canada). What others should know:Yes, this pellet will effectively pass through 1' wood products, such as, particle/composite board (NOT MDF), within 8 meters, and nearly through 2x4 stud (1 5/8 inch penetration on 2x4 stud from within same 7-8 meters).
Great pellets when fired from high powered air rifle with velocities exceeding 1200 FPS. Knock down power, power retention over greater distances, and easy to load into tight breech.
Things I liked:Easy to use.
I have a laser sight mounted on my air rifle scope (1 inch tube) and I was able to zero, not only my scope but also the laser to almost a perfect matter; zero.
The laser boresighter really makes my life a lot easier than having to try and adjust and align my scope without this boresighter.
Also, if you are in the field and firing inconsistent shots - this easy to use boresighter is great for use outside for quick field alignments if something is off. For day time use, in the field, I set an object 30 feet away, under something that provides some shade (to help see the laser better) and am able to make a few quick adjustments to my scope and laser sight to get me back on target!
Things I would have changed:CenterPoint did not do a very good job at designing the "on/off" switch. To turn the laser boresighter on or off, you need to push up on the (the plastic inner cylindrical battery piece) and turn it around to turn the laser on or off. What others should know:This laser boresighter is great for .177 & .22 cal air rifles. Can be used at home or in the field.
Also, make sure to turn off your boresighter before removing from barrel and DO NOT GET IN EYES!
Things I liked:500 pellets in a tin, good overall condition of pellets. Excellent value for money, plenty of energy for hunting small critters; such as, muskrats, pigeons, gophers and many other nuisance critters. In fact, on squirrels - these bad boys have a tendency of going through one side and out the other. Things I would have changed:Nothing. They are very good quality for everything from target practice to hunting. An excellent all around pellet for daily shooting. What others should know:Your hands will get dirty from loading the pellets into air rifle breach but that's ok. Make sure to wash your hands after using the washroom and handling these pellets!
