Things I liked:I am not a serious air gunner but I have owned several. I can say that for the price it would be very difficult to find a better value. Accurate, well constructed and accurate. I like the iron sights. The wood finish is not top shelf but what do you want for $100. If I wanted to put a little work into it I am certain I could make the wood look very nice. Things I would have changed:nothing I can think of. What others should know:Cocking the spring on this one is very easy. I am sure a 10-13 year old could do it.
Things I liked:Accuracy. I previously owned a HW30 with the perfect trigger. I foolishly sold it thinking many guns are well made. I bought the Stoeger. I was ok, can shoot inside 3 inches at 15 yards. I decided that wasn't good enough for backyard critters after missing several. I bought this gun and WOW. I can put 3 pellets (RWS hollowpoints) inside a dime at 15 yards if I do my part. There is no compromise for quality. Things I would have changed:I don't like the safety on this HW30s compared to my old HW30. The old safety was a much better design but I can live with this one. The manual is very poorly written It doesn't even list how to adjust the iron sights.
