Product: Beeman R9 Air Rifle, No Sights
Review entered on 2012-05-05 06:52:39Things I liked:I am new to air rifles. I just purchased a Beeman R9 with a Hawke Eclipse Scope from Pyramyd Air. My shooting buddies said that the JSB Exact 8.4 pellets work very well in my rifle. So far these pellets have proved them right. No problems, and they shoot great.
Things I would have changed:A screw off top would be good.
What others should know:The JSB Exact 8.4 pellets look smooth, with no dings. I think I will try the heavier JSB's just to see if there is any difference in accuracy

Things I would have changed:Nothing needs changing in this rifle.
What others should know:The Beeman R9 is my first air rifle. A group of guys that got me into air rifles suggested the R9 for its reputation and quality. They said that the trigger is the best around and I must agree. The trigger is very crisp. This rifle just feels good when you pick it up. The wood is just beautiful and looks great with the Hawke Eclipse scope. Can't go wrong with this setup. I use JSB Exact pellets.
