Things I liked: This is a beast. Much heavier than my other .177 air rifles, however it is a thing of beauty. With 8 grain pellets velocity is around 1,100 fps, which is not bad at all. The auto safety is a nice feature. The wood stock is quite lovely. The trigger breaks cleanly and is not "creepy" at all. All around this is a world class rifle for target practice and varmint control.

Things I would have changed: I would appreciate a little more positive feel on the safety. It has no detent or feel at all.

What others should know: You need a fair amount of strength to cock this puppy. It seems to be much more consistently accurate with heavier pellets. H&N Baracuda .177 Cal, 10.65 Grain ammo works very well and I am experimenting with JSB Exact Monster .177 Cal, 13.4 Grain pellets as well, but do not have definitive results.

Things I liked: Light weight, easy to cock. Gas piston works beautifully. This thing hits hard and the accuracy is very good (slthough the shooter could use some work). I like the both the Beeman Kodiak Match 10.65 grains and the H&N Baracuda Match at also at 10.65 grains. I am very satisfied.

Things I would have changed: I did not like the scope at all. I replaced with a BSA 3-12X44 whiscvh is excellent.

What others should know: Just a general note. My first rifle of this model had a barrel that was not aligned with the stock - like bent. It shot 10" to the right. It was less than 30 days old and Pyramyd gave me a return shipping label and shipped out the replacement rifle immediately. So folks, always keep all the original packing material until you know the rifle is shooting well. Kudos to Pyramyd.

Things I liked: More magnification that you will ever need. It is holding zero well on my Gamo bone collector bull barrel whisper. I used a DN T06 scope base and low mount picatinny base rings which gives about 3/8" of clearance on the objective lens.

Things I would have changed: I have never liked BSA's screw in metal scope covers. I understand why I cannot use Butler Creek covers.. I will look for some kind of bikini covers on elastic.

What others should know: Because the ubjective is so large I had to raise the scope mount. No big deal.
