Things I liked:Dead on target once ya get the sights adjusted!!Shoots best with the Beeman pellets for me.Beautiful Beechwood stock. This gun is a work of art.The rotating loader works best if you open half way inserting the pellet then open to drop em in.Dont think this one will be around long,at least not at this price.Love the fiber optic sights and it comes with the scope mount already installed. This rifle can easily compare to a five to six hundred dollar gun .Ive read articles which have matched it in professional matches and it placed in the top three. The underlever cocking and fixed barrel prevent the lost accuracy that you find in break barrel guns.Ive got the Big Cat and this one is a better gun and thats saying something considering the big cat is a very accurate and powerfull rifle.Hope this was helpful... Things I would have changed:NOT A THING... What others should know:GET ONE YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF IF YOU LOVE SHOOTING!
Things I liked:Light, Fun to shoot, best price in its level, Great for kids and adults Things I would have changed:Scope is cheap and hard to adjust,my rating was on the rifle itself. What others should know:Once you get your scope tweaked its dead on, and stays that way if you tork the screws tight more accurate with the lighter weight pellets and that will boost your velocity a bit . likes the crossman and daisy match pellets.
Things I liked:Better than the PT-80 Hands Down! Heres How, I get 300 shots in this gun for about what 50 pellet rounds would cost.Averaged 300+ shots to a cylinder of air,C02,Iwas getting about 50 with the pellet pistol .This gun has more FPS look it up on the stats, hits harder, better penetration, and a lot more accurate.I know that seems strange considering the pellet gun is rifled but heres the catch. This gun is steady when the trigger is pulled .The pellet gun moves due to the cocking, hammer movement. In my opinion and also a fact the hammer action as well as the sliding mechanism on air guns are for show only. With a real gun they have a purpose which is to chamber and recock the hammer in order to fire.A air gun does not.Plus what do you think moves the action on a air gun? You guessed it it robs you of air which waste air that coulb be used for shooting the projectile, thus wasting air and money.Im a gun lover and have several guns but for eye hand practice this is the closest thing to real target shooting as with a real pistol.I was very pleased with this pistol.Love the clip as oposed to a cylinder 18 is better than 8 rounds per reload and faster with the clip . Things I would have changed:NOTHING!!!!!!! What others should know:The sliding grip is only loose without a C02 installed otherwisi it isnt a problem.
Things I liked:Best overall value for the money, very cheap to operate.Get 6000 bb,s for around ten bucks. Things I would have changed:Nothing..... What others should know:I can shoot about 75 bb,s at full power, over 400 FPS and plink another 100 or so at 200FPS on a co2.
Things I liked:Shoot great ! Ive shot em in a straight line side by side withe equal spaceing right where I aimed at 50 ft.Shoot great in the big cat and the cfx. They like em . Great expansion, even on light pop cans and will tear a hole in a heavy coffee can with no slowdown on exit. For the money ya cant beat em.Not in the mentioned rifles, and not for the price.Hope they dont sell out cause I will be getting more. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:They dont carry as well on distant shots due to the low weight but for plinking up to 100 ft they are dead on.I use the raptors for distant shooting but they are not quit as accurate at say 50 ft unless you shoot a tad low unless you want to adjust your scope .The extra speed causes em to shoot an inch high with the same scope setting.Oh and they are dead on with my grandsons Recon. The weight will boost 50 FPS
Things I liked:Price, dual caliber, much quieter than a gamo series.I have the big cat and the CFX,Traditional springer sound, not a thrummmmmp. Things I would have changed:Plastic trigger, front and rear sights.Side to side play in trigger. What others should know:Clean the barrels before shooting. They are oiled to prevent rust. This is a great buy for the price. The gun is well made and shoots very well even with the plastic sights and trigger.Time will tell if they hold up.I have shot apx 50 pellets 25 of each .Seems to have a little more FPS than the gamo but I must say I dont have a chrony..Overall a toss up between the Big cat and the RS1.
Things I liked:BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK and I like the Beeman, Gamo, crossman ,and use em all. These are superior in accuracy to the previous mentioned. For a cheaper alternative use the Beeman 7.7 wadcutter... Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:More consistant placing shots through the same hole or wherever you point em!
Things I liked:Worth it for the .22 alone Things I would have changed:Nothing at this price What others should know:Clean the barrel, break in including setting the scope and shoot 50 rounds.Clean again only use denatured alchohol and dry using a bore mop untill it shines.Readjust the scope if needed and fir another 50 rounds. If your not getting .24 inch groups, or less , by now your holding the rifle to stiff. Relax and dont grip her like a conventional weapon cause if ya do shes gonna move.Springers move before the lead leaves the barrel unlike a powder loaded weapon.Relax dont hold the front, let it rest in the palm of your hand and keep the buttstock at a minimal firmness. see the artillary hold comment on this site. Hope this was a help cause I look for comments like this to help me .
Things I liked:Everything.... sold out everywhere else, get em while you can!!! Things I would have changed:NADA Love these pellets
great expansion yet with very good penetration.. What others should know:Due to increase speed due to weight 11.9 very low for a .22 shoot far more accurate than raptors at a fraction of the price, you'll need to adjust your height per scope about 4 clicks on elevation, not a problem..or compensate.
Things I liked:Price.. Tin was a keeper.. Things I would have changed:Accuracy, 1/2 the accuracy at 1/2 the price. Get what you pay for. You won't be making any cans dance thats for sure...as in taping the end to make her spin.. What others should know:Group all over the place, like 2 pellets left of target up down, inconsistant.Get RWS and shoot ,25 ,30 inch groups. I think if you seperated these pellets and zeroed each group per size and weight varriance they would be ok but who wants to do that ..Rating was due to low price ok for random plincking.
Things I liked:accuracy, penetration, expansion, Is there anything else? These are all around the best ive shot very clean and consistant.. Things I would have changed:The price, if I could, but you get what you pay for. What others should know:Shot three crosman pellets resulting in three misses, thought my scope was off.Shot three of these pellets resulting in three hits, all at thirty ft.They cost twice as much but its going to depend on whether you want to hit what your aiming at. One hit is better than many many misses dont ya think!
Things I liked:Mine came with the BSA scope ,sweet ,dialed it in, and its been accurate ever since shot over 3000 rounds no problems.gives a supersonic crack when the PBA ammo is used . A real pleasure to shoot and everyone that shoots it is addicted. When im out shootin the neighbors kids wander over with drool dripping off their little mouths so I let em shoot.. This gun is addictice, well balanced, and a pleasure to shoot.Any one with trigger creap concerns can lay em down after about a tin of beemans 7.7 gr it smoothes right out love the gun Things I would have changed:Well nothing since mine came with the BSA scope What others should know:This rifle holds its own and loves the Beeman ammo does double holers the proof is in the back of the target one hole in the front two in the back and can this gun penetrate with great expansion ta boot Wow it will eat a lot of pellets cause you cant stop ........its always well ill shoot a couple more and jump cans over each other by tapin the tail of the can and there she goes lotta fun
Things I liked:Perfect weight and shape for anything especially hunting ,Good price. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:These are on of the best deals anywhere on a .22 pellet very accurate and penetration is a phenom, also great expansion ...you will not be dissapointed with these believe me ...
Things I liked:New Grips feel great see pix top left,. Chrony at 405 fps lead 535 Fps PBA Get about 175 shots per cylinder with the 7gr RWS and very accurate fun for plinking at 30 ft or so.Kills flys and wasp at 10 ft.. Oh yes I did ............yea I did..! On the ground of course. This gun will cost you at least $69.95 just about anywhere else and Pyramid is the BOMB with Delivery, price and service!!! Things I would have changed:Nothing ! Lots of plinking fun.Not for the weak of wrist.... long steady and oh yes strong trigger pull stiffer than the
C-11 by far.If you are gonna shoot bb's I suggest you use the lead gamo with the rifled barrel..shoots the copperheads ok but placement suffers and a few jams.. What others should know:Not a jam one with RWS or crosman pointed or hollow points but this gun loves the 7.0 gr RWS Hobby or Basic..Heaftier in the hand than the PT-80 even though gamo rates it a few ounces heavier..
Things I liked:WEll tyou can always fish with em.They are fish sinkers.Great novelty,Wish someone else bought em first and I was reading instead or writing this and I hope I didnt wear my spring too much shooting five of these at 450 FPS on the chrony Down from 825 with the Beeman in .22. springer.I can show em to my Great Grand kids and tell em they are slugs and at 450 FPs thats what they are Slowwwwwwwww. Like a slug..Sorry I cant lie.... Things I would have changed:Make em for
yang guns only Not for springers at tall not tall folks!!! O S A R BIG BOYS I CAN TELL YOU THAT RITE NOWWWW>>>>(:))))) Look at em chins air... What others should know:3 Stars is the best I could do on these you can hit something if you can kick it with your foot you can hit it without any trouble at all.. 2 feet away.......I did .
Things I liked:Shoots crosman copperheads accurate and pellets too! Likes the RWS 7.0 Basic but shoots the crosman premier very well. The copperheads drop right down the barrel so there is no damage to the barrel and never jams due to the BB's slightly smaller size.Shoots the gamo .177 lead balls too. A real multi-tasker, like having three guns in one.. Things I would have changed:Nothing....... Pyramyd AIR has the absolute lowest price on the web for this pistol THANKS PYRAMYD AIR for these prices.. What others should know:Mine has the new Hogue style grips and the entire finish is toned down ,not shiney making it look more real.Very hefty feel with a lot of steel in the frame.F-1 Chrony displayed 404 FPS with a new co2, averaged 380 FPS for 100+ shots then drops to 225 FPS for around another 75 or so.Does a good job using all the air ...
Things I liked:Best buy on a .22 Pellet accurate, very clean, chrony at 845 FPS consistant in my Beeman RS2 .22 a real shooter Things I would have changed:price if possible but for the money you cant get any better.. What others should know:I shoot the crosman .22 Premier hollowpoints and love em they are good but only chrony at mid 700 FPS a loss of 100 FPS with these and there is a .25 to .50 inch difference due to weight and shape. The Beeman is rated at 825 and gets 850 with these thats the same as most advertised 1000FPS guns which usually shoot in the high 700 low 800 FPS range and ive tested them per chrony. CFX 780 FPS with crossman 840 FPS with Hobbys. Big cat mid 800s with crosman 920's with the RWS its due to weight as I mentioned but these all look perfect had 2 defect in 500 pellets.
Things I liked:Feel, weight , style with hogue type grips, accuracy, BB feed, pellet and BB option,80 shots per co2,durability,satin finish which makes it look more real, sounds a lot like a .22 ,Price,405 FPS,and yes I did a chrony ,whats not to like!!! Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:This is a well made gun,I have a PT-80 and I personally like this one better and BB,s are much cheaper to shoot with about the same accuracy at 25 ft.Dont limp wrist this just because its a BB gun if you do accuracy will suffer it is not hold sensitive like a rifle.Didn't have to touch the sight .Get use to the gun before you tinker with the sights some shots are always off with a BB pistol. There is no jaming due to rifleing of the barrel because the copperhead BB,s are a tad smaller.Try this, drop one down the barrel with the gun top open, they slide right down..I fire about 80 BB,s 70 or so very accurately on one co2 and thats about a Dollar for the ammo and the co2, do the math. This pistol performs much like a more expensive gun and I dont know of any co2 pistols that reach or advertises more FPS in a repeater. Pellets fire Si
ngle shot but so do a lot or most more expensive guns..A real keeper..
Things I liked:Pretty much everthing.Even the plastic sights are consistant, see my pix on chrony wayyy high.Loose groups at 1 inch due to power im gonna get heavier pellets to bring her down to under 1000 for accuracy.Triffer very predictable and sharp.Break it in fell it out use a light hold.Tight holding causes bad groups due to touch sensitivety of the gun. All air rifles move before the pellet leaves the barrel unlike carbine Rifles.Relax and hold her lightly, let her float, see pyramid air for Artillary hold methods. Things I would have changed:Nothing at all! What others should know:Clean, clean ,clean,Before you shoot this rifle clean the bore.Get a .177 rod brush and mop at any hardware store. I use a little bore cleaner for a rifle, very little on the brush.Three rams with it then three with the mop and then three Q-tips which make a excellent patching system I'm gonna post the pictures of what I got outta this gun before firing it,and thats the q-tip 3rd stage and you tell me how many aimless shots it would take to get this packing oil and carbon from the actual production of the bore to get this out ..1000 maybe, but why waste the time and wear on the gun spring .No and I mean NO rifle will group good at velocities greater than 1080 FPS or the spee of sound. The pellet tumbles just like a flyer and will not group even in a $700.00 magnum gun check out the physics on a 7.0 or 8.0 gr pellet too light for the wind resistance..Pros use 580 FPS at 10 meters or 30 ft ,Why ACCURACY .I had to learn this the hard way and I love to get a good tip when I can Hope you do too May GBY..
Things I liked:With a $90.00 to a $100.00 scope and a $109.00 Nitro piston not counting the shipping for installation on the Nitro piston your getting the Rifle for free.Yup the scope and piston cost as much as the whole Item.Do the math.Very quiet only thing that gets my attention is the strike of the pellet on the target ,Yup I shot 30 after a good cleaning. Things I would have changed:This gun weighs in at 9.2 lbs with scope on my digital scales. Not a problem for me at 6" 2", 190 lbs but some may want to take that into consideration.Especially if your gonna hump it through the woods. It does come with a nice padded Benjamin sling. What others should know:This rifle shoots consistantly at 750+ FPS on my chrony with crosman premier
and 800+FPS with RWS hobby pellets.Rifles will vary as all do but that is fine with me as I dont expect MFG specs to be perfect and thats plenty of power for a .22 .Groups were at .4 inches with the premier and .18 with the RWS hobby
Things I liked:Price . Great for plinking cans at say ,30 ft. Work well with low to medium power guns,, Also shoot pretty consistantly in my Big Cat Hits about 90 % of the time saves on other ammo and I reuse the cool case..clips to my belt nicely Things I would have changed:Nothing at this price What others should know:they are not as bad as people say.. Some people cant hit anything with anything LMHO ..Much more precise than any Raptor. ive shot at a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lower price..Minus the 18 kt gold plating but I dont wear my pellets as jewelry very often .
Things I liked:Had one dented out of 1000. shoot very accurately.I like the flip box with the belt clip Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Clean em up, takes a few minutes,Higher priced pellets of the same deminsions go through a cleaning process,Put em in a bowl, squirt a little dish washing detergent over them then run some hot tap water in. Swish em around a while then rins off thoroughly. Drain put em in a paper towle to dry.Thats it.they shoot really well at a fraction of the price.
Things I liked:These pellets at this weight shoot by far the best in my Trail NP. Really send cans flying . Great carry for distance, Things I would have changed:250 500 in a tin What others should know:Great weight for Trail NP, If you are shooting anything 2 gr or so lighter they will shoot a little low just reclick your elevatiob about 8
Things I liked:Best .22 cal pellet in my opinion Things I would have changed:0 What others should know:Best .22 cal pellet in my opinion very very very accurate with great expansion and hard to believe the grouping with 18 different air rifles
beeman benjamin crosman and especially the phenominal BIG CAT my goodness what else can I say Thank You Pyramid Air for the lowest prices in the Buisness!!!!!!!
Things I liked:Good penetration from 3 ft away Things I would have changed:Sell em for a dollar What others should know:cant hit anything with em and they suck but other than that they are fine the 1.99 cent daisy 7.5 gr in the dirty tin will hit things but they dont travel at 1200 FPS but neither do these more like 1000 FPS
Things I liked:ALL AWESOME for the price , shoot very good in my Benjamin XP Trail at 25 yards (75 ft ) not a miss on a pop can Things I would have changed:Nothing... the black is graphite for smoother loading What others should know:I was using the Beeman .22 wadcutters and they are great weighing about a grain more. Didn't even change the scope and was hitting consistantly 5 for 5 which is the amount shot , shooting a the remains of a pop can I had shoot earlier with the Beemans.Great plinking rounds at about 1/2 the price. All brands have dingers in them even the expensive ones,,, only found one terrible dent in one skirt and it came out by putting the point of a .177 in the hole removing the. 177 pellet after spreading it of course. Tiny dents will not matter in my opinion due to no lack of accuracy for shots fired and besides the air pressure when shot spreads the skirt thats how rifled air guns get the pressure.against the breach..
Things I liked:Accuracy this gun has been reported to have won pro competitions 3 times.Very accurate Ive hit targets at over 150 ft consistantly Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Fixed barrel works great.. very quiet due to muzzle ,looks like a real gun heavier than my 30-30 very good deal at this price
Things I liked:Works very well What others should know:Be carefull I nicked mine 3 times but was blessed in the fact that i didnt damage the sky screens. Keep barrel level no closer than 2" hight and stay back 3 ft with real guns otherwise the blast can damage the screens 6 inches with air guns this is my opinion
Things I liked:The most accurate air gun ive fired, very quiet ,shoots well with all pellet formats, likes the flat heads best Things I would have changed:Nothing ,even though
i was surprised that I didnt get around 750 FPS also this rifle does not get a great increase with lighter pellets like the springers do. This is my expierence and has nothing to do with the gun in general as all are different What others should know:The power on these guns as all guns in my opinion, is about 70% of advertised FPS remember it says up to. This gun after break in is averaging 680 FPS which is great considering it was advertised at about 540 FPS when th NP was first sold in the Remington model. You lose accuracy when a pellet reaches a supersonic speed due to the low weight.I think the different speeds are more related to the amount of lube per gun. After a good spring lube ive had guns crack and fire over 1300 FPS only to fall back down to the norm at 850 after a break-in
Things I liked:Very surprised at the accuracy and quality of these pellets. The graphite is added to prevent leading will not harm you in fact protects you from the lead just wash up afterwards.. Things I would have changed:Nothing had one bad skirt in a pack Can not beat the price nowhere,, NOWHERE.. What others should know:You can get a bad run of any pellet meaning things happen such as pellets on the bottom of a manufactured pile weighihg hundreds of pounds might get deformed, That doesnt mean they all are bad..
Things I liked:These are better than I gave them credit for. I didn't like em for short range plinking because they dont propell the tin /pop can due to over penitration but for pest these are the best.Hit a pigeon at apx at least 350 ft clean kill and a wrenn at 275 ft back to back with one shot one kill with open sights with the crosman phantom. That gun outshoots all my others with 920+ FPS and thats with a 8gr well 7.9 gr pellet.Very impressive. Its my least expensive gun.
No wonder they are on backorder. This gun will go up in price in my opinion.Got mine at Pyramyd Air Thanks Guys While it was still a sleeper,This one will give more expensive guns a run for their money. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:These are great hunting pellets the expansion isnt that great ,Little change in size but ultimate penetratin with the kill. At 920 FPS and a 7.9 gr Premier that gives you well over the 14.5 lbs of knockdown pressure which makes it a Magnum gun by definition...
Things I liked:Fun. Fun Fun fun. With the lower speed it makes pop cans jump. Very light, feels more like a pound to me and I like that.Very accurate up to 50 ft . Things I would have changed:Price I think by comparison this gun is a little pricey but I'm sure gonna keep it LOL. But I know of no other in its price class in a FUN repeater. What others should know:Chronys at 600+ first 2 clips 24 shots, then levels off at 400+FPS plenty enough for can popin.Stays consistanly accurate for a total of 5 clips 60 shots then drops off to the point you see the arch as it finishes off. This gun loves the flat nose pellets. It was tested with a 7.5 gr Diabolo Should shoot a little faster with the lighter pellets at 7gr a and I havent tried the Raptor yet.
Things I liked:Its a tune up in a bottle as far as I see it brings your chamber back to life.. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:My .22 cal Benjamin was getting 650 average on the chrony with a 15 gr
diabolo couldnt get any higher even with a lighter pellet. Two drops of this and I was hitting 700 and 800 on the chrony and I only fired 5 shots to lube the chamber. This is great lube as far as im concerned ,
Things I liked:Quick reloading. easy, load 4 including the one with the gun thats 48 enough to finish off your co2,with a few more at low power 60 total in mine per co2 Things I would have changed:Nothing at this price well I might need to change how fast I fire these, eats em up! What others should know:If ya get the gun go ahead and get these its so much easier and this thing eats ammo its so accurate I can plink a can out to 39 yrds with no loss of accuracy they just hit a little easier but they still hit.I tried a scope but this gun is so accurate with the open sights I took it off. This thing is F U N I can go through 4 clips 48 rounds as fast as I do with my real rifle ,safer, if not at the range and its just as fun, Saves me time, money, even with the co2 cost I tally that its about $1.25 to shoot 50 times and thats with Beeman Wadcutters.Oh it doesnt jam with the Beeman cause they fit real snug. Others fall out and can cause jams but not with the Beemans bought here at $4.29 for 500 pelllets and the 4th tin is free. The crosman premiers shoot great too... TY PYRAMYD AIR This is a real fun gun because of the fast action shooting and its hard to miss your targer very accurate. N O RECOIL WHAT SO EVER NADA ,NONE, NIX ,Smoother than a Much more expensive gun. I have had one jam in 300 shots and all ya do is take out the magazine and clip and tap a rod muzzle first and it falls right out .........
Things I liked:Update.... after well over 11,000 pellets.Still accurate, well .. more accurate with groups leaving complete holes of over 1 inch using gamo 5 inch cardboard targets, group holes of course,This is definetly my favorite gun in fact im getting another and leaving it in the vault, well closet LOL.still gets a constant chrony of 850 FPS and thats great, with a 7.7 gr a little faster with the 7 gr pellet. Things I would have changed:N O T H I N G What others should know:Clean, lube, and keep the screws tight about every 500 shots, the trigger is great after breaking in I love it... very predictable smooth and accurate. For some reason mine doesnt like ultra light pellets they chrony over 1000 FPS and this gun has ,as I said over 11,000 shots through it, but they lack in accuracy .This gun likes the Beeman wadcutters RWS , hobbies, yes and even daisy for plinking always hits the cans
Things I liked:Dead on... accuracy right out of the BOX at 65 ft. Got 490
fps on chrony with a 7.9 lead pellet didnt check the alloy pellet. Built as good as my Beeman. Composite stock was military Grade in my opinion and I was in the army. great for first shooters due to the small size ,trigger to stock, very good for a child under 12.grandson doesnt need to tuck the stock under his arm to aim like with the others, Things I would have changed:Nothing this is the only sturdy built youth rifle and I have 3, gamo ,crosman , and this one.Of course this is ONLY my opinion....... What others should know:Very nice rifle built to last. barrel was clean when I got it has great fiber optic sights Not for Adults too short.
Things I liked:
I like the rifle I personally think its worth every penny. Scope was nice crisp and clear.Took 5 shots at 50 ft to center the open sights. They have changed the stock mount. It now has 2 screws, one on each side which mate together in the middle,VERY TIGHT GUN NOW.
Things I would have changed:Well you really couldn't change anything at this price. What others should know:IT IS A REAL BEAR to cock.Better a hard cocker that I can't see falling apart than easy and having the previous stock problems with the 4 screw stock. This is a hunting rifle and should be used as such. I can shoot my .22 all day long with no problems but this one I have to put the stock on the ground use both hands and after cocking its real tough to close. This should improve with break-in That being said Its a real performer. I was getting apx 700 FPS with a 26 gr pellet on the chrony and thats 28.28 FT lbs .Speaking for myself I will use it with the open sights and keep the scope for another rifle. Cant see any scope holding up to the recoil but having saying that it shoots very true using the Artillary hold, tried the forearm grip hold and it is touch sensitive so that threw off all my shots I am sure this gun would get more use if I had waited for the NP to come in but they are $109.00 higher Still all in all its a keeper. Never mind the worry that the smaller kids will shoot this gun they would NEVER get it cocked.
Things I liked:They penetrate well and expand, very accurate, cant beat the price, Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know: consistant 650 ft on the chrony after breakin (new gun) . I shot a 1 gallon milk container full of water at 60 ft with clean exit so it still travelled quite a bit. Cant see anything surviving this at 20 yards,, groups were from overlapping actually touching to 1/4 inch at 60 ft very nice
Things I liked:POWER, ACCURACY, and a beautiful rifle Things I would have changed:Some of the plastic parts , sights trigger but the stock is nice and all the plastic parts are very functionable What others should know:Break her in at say 100 shots before you mount the stock, and you won't over stress the scope with the break in process, I did this and mine shoots very accurate .If you set the scope to the rear of the rings toward the stock and then the mounts to the backstop the scope will not move if torqued up properly. Mine is consistant at 650 FPS with the H&N 26 gr pellets which give me 24.38 ft-lbs which will go through a 3 ltr coke bottle full of water with power to spare at 25 yards with very nice groups ,holes are about 1/4 inch apart
Things I liked:'I've got a walther Falcon Hunter,, gamo cfx, Benjamin np trail. Gamo Big cat. Crossman Phantom, crossman 1077,Gamo Recon ,and after a break in This is my favorite rifle and it cost less than any in its power range I get consistant 750 to 780 FPS on the chrony with 14.3 Pellets and its dead on and powerful Thats 17.85 FT_LBS or more making this a magnum rifle by definition of being over 14.5 FT-LBS Muzzle velocity Things I would have changed:Nothing takes a while to tweak the trigger set it on the soft side, What others should know:Cant say enough about this rifle .Choose your caliber and put teflon tape on the barrel screw then torque it up. I chose the .22 cant get one at this price in a fixed barrel When I first got the gun it would get loose after twenty or so shots but since the teflon tape ive shot well over 1500 and when checked the barrel is still tight . DOnt be afraid to get it tight.I think the tape dampers the shock and the csrew will not break loose like with lock tightAlso if
I cant get or afford the .22 ammo I have the option to switch to the .177. This rifle is made very well and if I didn't know better id swear it was a German version. A real sleeper and ignored due to the chinese mfg.
Things I liked:EVERYTHING a quality rifle nice balance and a load of POWER Things I would have changed:NADA THING What others should know:This gun comes out of the box over 1300 FPS the pix are mine . After a break - in it settles down to 950 and stays there and thats with accurate 7.9 plus grain Lead ammo . Im waiting on the 10.2 crosman ultra ammo now. Likes crossman the best dome or the hollowpoints . Its made a few feathers fly and that was before I mounted a scope and at over 200 ft Magnum in my book has at least 14.5 FPE .. I can see why the are not in stock, get one!!!!
Things I liked:This is a perfect rifle for a 8 to 10 year old due to the pull length much to short in the stock for an adult or teen. shoots perfect. Does not need a scope but would be fine with one. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Made very well has a single stage trigger, auto safety is great for a beginner, trigger is a little stiff but I know it will break in nicely.Very tough stock . Junior wont have to worry about Dad hogging it much,,Too short for an adult...shorter than the recon.....
Things I liked:8.4 gr slows down velocity to keep trjectory (path) under controll with magnum powered rifles ft-lb energy is the same due to greater weight but the accuracy is much better. Ive never hit anything ovet 5 ft away once ya hear the CRACK and know you have passed the 1100 fps sound barrier mark which throws accuracy out the window Things I would have changed:Nothing great for hunting small prey What others should know:These work very well in beeman and crosman air rifles with at least 700 FPS I keep a tin on hand
Things I liked:These are perfect for any air rifle which will fire them at least 750 FPS and 850 FPS high end . I did a chrony on these it shot at around 750 FPS between 748 and 755 . Set the scope for 20 yds as recomended and you could and I mean really could drive a tack with the precision Things I would have changed:Not anything What others should know:GET SOME> They don't do well with low powered rifles or pistols I tried em very lose patterns. Beeman rifles and the crosman phantom which is the gun I use these in really love em .Its almost like this pellet was made for the phantom and the quest. But I am sure they will work great in any rifle that has the punch to get em in the 750 fps range Remember these are heavy at 10 and 1/2 grains The same rifle that pumps these at 750 will push a 7 gr at over 950 fps consistantly but of course with less accuracy and much less effective range.in distance. The round nose pellet is proven to be the most accurate pellet head type for distance shooting hands down. I cant see any other pellet out performing these at this price range.. TY Pyramyd Air
Things I liked:This is the most underpriced air rifle in the world Things I would have changed:Nothing......................... the trigger breaks in very nicely What others should know:I have a cfx and it is sweet,a beeman R1, A walther falcon powerfull gun, a Big cat , a recon a Benji trail NP, and a few others and none of them will out shoot this gun at any price, this is a very well made adult air-gun. Its weight balance and precision are remarkable and it L O V E S the crosman ultra mag 10.5 gr This is a magnum rifle named so or not I get 14 ft-lbs on knockdown power and thats a lot with a .177 do the math its no wonder its on backorder . If its speed ya want put a raptor in this puppy and it will shoot 1200 FPS consistant on the chrony and hit the 1100 + with lead pellets I wonder if this is the .22 Tac 1 with a .177 barrel. I dont know but it is a NICE RIFLE at twice the price.. Look out BIg cat if this catches on this may very well be in the number one slot before long. Oh and its a smooth cocker once you get it broke in real Smooth.......
Things I liked:solves the problem of scopes coming loose on magnum powered rifles even stops the scope backing up on the walther falcon hunter and that is saying something Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:well worth the purchase
Things I liked:GOTTA GET YOU SOME OF THESE WOW WOW WOW Things I would have changed:give em away but thats exactly what pyramyd is doin at this price my GOD they will go up in popularity and price its a given gotta happen ive got 6000 more on the way What others should know:precise accurate expansion penetration larger wound channels dead rats squirrels and pesty birds kill em all before they eat all the food and delicious bugs and not to mention what they do on our cars we gotta stop em before its too late of course this is only a joke but who knows thre the are all over the entire world like in that movie
Things I liked:Feel like I stole it for $29.00 very well made compares to much more expensive dot sights..T.Y. Pyramyd Air Things I would have changed:Nothing... except these wont last long at this price and I would like another one What others should know:Works great on my Benjamin NP .22 easy to zero. The online manual said to sight in the direction of the dot not the shot. It zeros just like any other scope by dialing it to the direction you want the pellet to move to. Took me seven shots but that was because I was following directions at first. Will not fit a dovetail, only the weaver style mount. This scope would work very well on any firearm even centerfire or rimfire, it held up to the falcon hunter, in .25 cal but I wanted to keep that one with open sights. They eat scopes with time I know first hand and they are very accurate with open sights, yes I bought the walther from P Air its a steal
Things I liked:Everything Things I would have changed:Needs weaver rings What others should know:Get weaver rings and it will hold zero.Hit a bottle cap dead center at 50ft this gun groups great with h&s hollowpoints. Will shoot clean through a water filled 2 ltr bottle or a one gallon milk jug full of water at 30 yrds. This rifle likes to be held firmly at all points unlike others that like to be floated with easy holds
Things I liked:This is the best all around pellet plinking or hunting to be found at this or a higher price.and I use H&S RWS Crosman,Daisy and other Beeman pelletsThey are good bought 6000 of em without regret Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:shoots well in Big cat, Crosman phantom and this gun usually prefers premiers and im sure any rifle fits well shoots well has great penetration for a hollow point flys like a Diabolo and has range like a round nose
Things I liked:all but the scope Things I would have changed:make it so you could keep a scope on it without destroying the scope What others should know:Mine has over 600 pellets through it and with the proper hold, tight hold , I can hit a bottle top at 50 ft sitting down,At 200 shots I heard a crack it was the scope broke the rear seal has plastic dust in it the crosshairs moves counter clockwise but it still holds zero after using weaver style rings which should have came with the gun all along, Im afraid if I replace the scope its going down too the front sight is crooked and made to the muzzle break and cant be fixed saying all that its an accurate gun and hits really hard,Any suggestions on a scope that will last
Things I liked:Gun alone worth more that the set Things I would have changed:Give weaver rails with the scope dovetail wont cut it .. What others should know:Ive shot this one 800 times four 200ct tins of H&N Hollowpoints The recoil is too much for any affordable scope and even higher priced ones. The only thing that worked for me is the Leapers red dot, its built well and handles the recoil due to its size and durability I get clover leaf groups on a pop cab dead center at 75 ft wilh a complete tight hold and checking my breathing. Ive had no stock cracks due to the new stock walther has installed im uploading a picture of the rifle with the scope on.Oh this scope comes with the weaver rings and fits the gun well it is selective where it is mounted due to the mount not being a true weaver such as th NP Trail comes with but it fits good on several spots and mine has great eye relief easier to pinpoint your shots over the open sights .you can also use the open sights as they are very visible with the red/green dot turned off
Things I liked:M A G N U M..... compares to shooting my 30-30. Tough.Shoots like a real centerfire no limp wristed floating artillery hold and I like that now that ive mastered it but its good to be able to shoot a air rifle and hold it like a hunting rifle and be able to get good groups and even shoot empty pellet tins at 15 meters watching em 'fly................ lot of fun and a heck of a lot safer for the neighbors not to mention cheaper for me itg great when you get bored with the standard .177 or .22 I have the .25 shoots a 30 gr pellet Put a round through a Full container of water and I mean a Gallon container not a 20 oz give it a try the cheapest .25 cal in the entire world price wise only this thing weighs 10 lbs and aint made cheap on the other hand it shoots just as well with the iron sights even though they are plastic I put a leapers golden image on mine and I can see right through to the regular sights perfectly so its up to me if I want the red/green dot depending on the time of day dusk etc.. Things I would have changed:Scope didnt last long the Beast destroyed it even the switch for the lumination are wobblin around and the light dont work no more. The crosshairs spins around like a clock there is plastic dust inside the lenses but it still holds zero can you grasp that What others should know:If your not very very strong you will not be able to hold and aim much less cock this BEAST Think im kiddin get one and see eat your vitamins before you shoot this gun Mine has 800 round through it no stock cracking and the triggers fine but I no longer need to go work out I just plink a hundred rounds and im good tired but good
Things I liked:Best deal on any scope at any price. Not only is it a red dot but you have plenty of view to use your fixed sights with the dot off also if one gets out of zero you can tune it to the other quickly without firing a shot but guess what If the Falcon hunter .25 cal cant knock you off zero nothing can this was my last chance for this gun it rips scopes apart and it dont give a damn how much you pay for em Things I would have changed:TY Pyramyd ait this scopes worth 100 .00 and comes with 2 batteries and weaver rings What others should know:Get one for any magnum gun pistol or rifle its fabulous made extremely well
Things I liked:looks and operates like a much more expensive scope very easy to zero and has a zero lock which can be set to return to the original zero if readjusted.holds zero very well and has crystal clear view up to 12x then its off a touch green light shows mil dot red is just a thick red x like em both comes with 2 batteries and was easy to mount on my Benji NP comes with the flip up lense covers too also wrenches are included for mounting I live the heavy ring tighteners no more hex there lol Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Better get one before they are on backorder
Things I liked:I can check a new gun to see its fps and see if it maintains velocity check to see how fast different pellets shoot or even give my gun a regular check up to she how shes doin I use it all the time Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:A must have for serious shooters Why assume your gun shoots x amount of fps when you can know. It saved me a rifle that was under warranty but I never would have known the spring was broken untill the chrony showed 1/2 my previous Speed so I returned it for a new gun payed for itself right there
Things I liked:Power, accuracy, Heft,, Balance, even though its heavy Things I would have changed:Hard to call a shot standng with the scope, even before it broke. What others should know:Be smart don't scope this gun it shoots fine with open sights It totally destroyed the scope that came with it so I put on a red/green dot it totaly destroyed the mounts and they were made to the scope no cheap scope a leapers totally destroyed the mounts of a centerpoint 3-16 x by the time I had it zeroed. The way I see it with the power it has ,if you cant shoot it with open sights, the prey is too small or too far away. I wish I could keep a scope on this gun but it aint happening for me. Im getting a talon magnum and im not even gonna scope it after all its the same gun in .22 only black instead of mobu .These guns are very accurate but the recoil even with the NP I have a friend with one is too much for a scope. With the first scope first the rear seal broke but it held zero then the optics light quit working later fell off and finally the windage crapped out if anyone knows a way to overcome the stupid not weaver not dovetail mounts tell me but I still think the recoil would destroy it I can hit a soda can 4 out of five times with open sights while standing at 100 ft. Relax aim squeeze hit LOL Im not lying but with a scope while standing I cant hold a shot and I plink with this gun 100 or so shots at a time so no im not a wimp hope this saves someone a scope the one that came with it would have worked great on a lesser gun
Things I liked:Beyond the shadow of a doubt the most precise pellet I have ever shot and I use RWS H&N,, Big BOYS, crosman, Beeman of course some in other calibers due to the lack of .25 These are well worth the money. Save em for hunting once you zero shoot very flat in a .25 and thats saying something,,I shoot about 300 rounds a day ok im a nut but I know my pellets Things I would have changed:Nothing . The reason europe/ German made pellets dont have a screw top is because they use pellet pouches they dont keep 500 in their pocket like us amys do therefore no spill and ive dropped a 500 tin and know what a pain in the ass it is cleaning it up and losing some What others should know:These are awesome in the falcon hunter a
gun best used without a scope in my opinion due to the fact I cant take my bench out on a hunt. The falcon shoots the H&N hollowpoints at 650 FPS on chrony .Thats a 26.23 round Thse hit around 800 fps have more ft-lb and shot a little flatter making it about a tie with the Talon magnum with a bigger wound channel in the .25 Remember with a .25 the whole rabbit or squirrel is the kill zone
Things I liked:Didnt think I could find a rifle I liked better than the Falcon Hunter but here it is first shot over the chrony was 1010 with a crosman premier 14.3 hollowpoint settled down to 975 consistsnt after 200 pellets.I like the Idea that I can shoot cheaper ammo to break in gun and for general plinking.Plus you get a little more knockdown than the ...25 only prob is a smaller wound chanel for larger pest like possums or foxes at close range with the .22 Things I would have changed:Weaver scope mounts Hello Turkey guys in Turkey its got a Weaver mount dont need a dovetail ring set dont mesh ......HELLO . But It doesnt matter cause I use open sights Im old scool faster aim for me and no guessing on the crosshairs What others should know:If ya want the .22 the only difference in the falcon and the talon is the color and thetrigger the
talon has a better trigger in my opinion its cheaper and boththe scopes are JUNK but no worries the Gun alone is worth more than the combo and I like open sights .I tend to hold a steadier hold when im not balancing the scope doin the scope bobbin routine when in a standing position and im runnin out of breath LOL OH!!!!! P.S This is a nice looking gun to have a composite stock and they dont crack now due to an upgrade my Hatsan SAS works and I like the quatro trigger that the Falcon doesnt come with at least mine didnt..Hold her firm call your shot and youll love this gun..I wish this gun came in .25 you know falcon hunter in black same powerplant HELL same gun
Things I liked:These are perfect pellets to keep on hand for breaking in a new gun, And with rhe tight fit and velocity, it takes care of those deformed skirts when shot through the talon magnum, very accurate I guess they staighten out with this massive power... shoots good groups with this gun for plinking and just as well as the premieres believe it or not I can see your scepticism but ive run a few hundred theough and I cant believe it myself Things I would have changed:at this price nothing What others should know:These are soft lead pellets and that means two things the skirts are off centered a lot of the time but as tight as they fit in the talon the air pressure must straighten them out cause they shoot good. if you have this gun get a tin next time you order something whats to lose. I always use em in a new gun because they shoot loose groups anyway first 50 or so but tighten up and shoot good in this gun and being soft makes a massive wound channel at 950 fps
Things I liked:This has to be the most accurate powerful and easy to shoot rifle on the market with a metal spring. The new plastic trigger is toughly made and requires no breakin I have both. versions It will chrony at the mid 900s after a breakin and shoots ragged holes for groups. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:This rifle is amazing considering the tiny spring which has little to no preload. It the spring that is can be removed without special tools as the spring is little to no danger to remome unless you got it pointed at your eye or some dumb crap like that.problem is you cant find a new one anywhere uless you send the gun to gamo I had one cat that i shot every day for forever about 15000 pellets yes 30 tins of 500 and heard a crunch when cocking so i took a look and sure enough 1 inch of the spring was broken off so I put the longer piece of spring back in and even though it dropped to 725 fps on the chrony it plinked like a champ for another 5 or 600 shots then broke again. Wish I could find a new spring for it being it was an 08 and had the metal trigger which was broke in well. very addictive rifle and has a good report louder than my falcon hunter in .25 but a lot easier to shoot
Things I liked:This is a different gun here but its a nice gun its heavy smooth and is a good trainer if ya shoot m4 and such. like the pistol grip gives the feeling of an AR type weapon Things I would have changed:Trigger is creepy and long takes some breaking in What others should know:This rifle loves the cphp crosman premier hollow points and it will shoot the rws pointed pellets as well. cant get consistancy with diabolo pellets, just dont like em which is a shame cause they expand so well I like wadcutters.Ive did a lot of research from pro reviews and they all agree that about 680 fps is all your gona get out of this even after lube and shiming the breach seal. It is very quiet but I like at least 750 fps with a .22 which is what my Beeman shoots. The talon magnum now that gun shoots 950 fps all day long and with great accuracy but man shes a heavy girl around eleven lbs with a centerpoint 3-16x scope takes out the fun there for field hard to hold great for bench shooting but hard to hold in a standing position Back to the trail you can feel the quality in this gun I put on a lighter scope the one that came with the talon magnum and put a centerpoint 3-16 x on the talon then the beeman got the centerpoint that came with this gun.It just didnt work with this gun the red dot leapers golden image works well with this one too
Things I liked:15 ft-lbs with the crossman ultra magnum 10.5 gr at 880 fps shoots 7 gr consistantly at 1004 fps after a 1000 shot break in. Shoots 1300 fps out of the box and settles down A great go to gun I don't even use a scope on this one. its killed every bird ive aimed at Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:This gun is made better than a lot of higher priced guns. I got one because it was cheap priced but I found out its not a cheap gun made very well.I prefer it over the big cat because it is made better
Things I liked:Nice flat trajectory, accurate, good hunting pellet, Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:If your gun is set for crosman ultramagnum .177 10.5 gr. with good groups then these are tac drivers.I can hit a pebble at 75 ft or a small bird at 100ft with open sights.Nice long flat trajectory..plus the penetrstion.too expensive for plinking me thinks
Things I liked:accuracy weight and balance Things I would have changed:seals blow What others should know:I loved this gun had it a week and the seals blew . When you cocked it the air would rush out with no shot. Trashed it due to the fact that the shipping and trouble would not be worth the 35.00 paid
Things I liked:Look Feel Weight Accuracy shoots better with heavy pellets crosman ultrmagnum lots of power Things I would have changed:Co2 seal mine went out in a few days and I used pellgun oil every time as suggested What others should know:Hope this was a lemon and the next one is better. It got great ratings, so we will see.Pyramyd Air was great as far as exchange now im waiting on delivery and no the heavy pellets did not cause the co2 entry seal to go Tom gaylord suggest heavies for pcp and co2 but not for springers.Wears springs out early with heavies in springers
Things I liked:Best buy on a 500 tin of pellets..very accurate and hard hitting Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:shoot well in gamo beeman and crosman airguns do jam in gamo pistols but no prob in crosman pistols
Things I liked:everything but the trigger Things I would have changed:trigger What others should know:expect about 2/3 of the expected fps. If you can master or change the trigger its still a great gun
Things I liked:my best gun out of 22 guns and also the least expensive Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:use teflon tape on the barrel screws and shes rock steady for ever in my case tighten em real tight
Things I liked:put a hole clean through two water filled milk jugs and rested in the third with cphp Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:likes the crosman hollowpoints no wadcutters
Things I liked:Built as good as the gamo royal series, trigger is one stage but very prdectable .Shoots point of aim at 10 meters and a tad high at 75 meters. Likes diabolo pellets just fine haven't tried round or pointed pellets yet. Very heavy gun nice finish .>.I was expecting the cherry with dark checkering but was pleased with the dark walnut which I got seems to be a beechwood stock Things I would have changed:At this price nothing but at a higher price a two stage trigger although the trigger is much better than the two stage gamo or the crosman series triggers What others should know:I would expect this gun to cost around $200.00 without a scope .
Things I liked:Very well made air rifle i like the safety systems to include the anti-beartrap on the breech .Beautiful piece nice balance and feel gets 10 ft-lbs consistant with the .22 version Things I would have changed:Nothing at any price What others should know:This gun shoots great after a breakin and cleaning with cphp in .22 great plinker which could take small game. I tried a variety of pellets wadcutters RWS pointed and heavies shoots the best groups with the crosman premier hollowpoints and they are much cheaper in a 500 tin. I use this gun for open sights practice I hear it shoots well with a scope but I have enough scoped guns and wanted this one for a plinker .Let me know how you like the pix..
Things I liked:I must recant my previous statement these are good for one gun I own and I got 14 and 5 are .22s .These shoot decent in believe it or not the Walther Talon magnum, not as precise as the RWS superpoits by a long shot but they will hit and group on the target. With the price difference ,which is a lot, I can use em for plinking and breaking in a new gun so Im eating some crow on this one concerning my previous review LOL Just keeping it honest What others should know:As stated above everything works with something I think it may be speed related as the Walther shoots a standard .22 14-15 grain at 950+ FPS in a seasoned rifle shot well over 1000 FPs out of the box with a firm hold no artillery holds with this gun 'ask Tom Gaylord or read his Falcon hunter review 'same gun with the MOBU stock same power plant but in .25
Things I liked:Best trigger out of the box bar none 1.4 lb pull.Great balance.Hitting dime sized gravel at 60 ft on 3rd round with open sights I'll let ya know when I check the chrony too hot to set it up right now. Quiet and a beautiful gun.Bluing is excellent. Things I would have changed:Dove tail is too small for scope. Scope is tasco quality so offer it without the scope, put the safety in trigger weld not a big deal.stock is very soft and easy to scratch as with all chinese guns yup its from china. What others should know:Everyone in my HO needs a gun with open sights for practice, plus ,when it gets this humid scopes can be a drag due to fogging ,and last but not least, this gun LOVES CPHP .177. I hate it when people say "find the right ammo" leaving ya hanging lets help each other out here folks.overall this is an excellent rifle at twice the price.Oh BTW clean the barrel and tighten the screws right out of the box.God bless ya ..
Things I liked:Ok I broke out the chrony heres the results. 1343 fps first shot sounded like a 22 for about 6 shots still in the 1200 1300 range after about 30 + shots settled down to 930 FPS range and stayed there this was with beeman HP 7.2 gr shoots straight but high even after rear site was bottomed out with these pellets. May have to consider a different brand for this gun What others should know:Above was at 25 yrds may be dead on at longer ranges havent tried yet
Things I liked:sidelever,Well made, accurate after 100 round break in,very nice balance, trigger is smooth, gets abot 680 fps after settling in 5 shot chrony test, this is after a breakin which were all over the place at first. then 683,680,685,680,687,average 5 fps difference Things I would have changed:at this price nothing What others should know:well I tried cphp 7.9 beeman hp 7.2 crosman ultramag 10.5 rws hobboes 7.0 and the cheapest pellets were the most consistant being the beeman hp which were the above chrony results making this a very costwise gun to buy and shoot . Less than a penny a shot.always tighten the stock screws and clean the barrel with a new gun IMHO
Things I liked:Weighing in at 1 1/2 lbs this is not a cheap feeling pistol, weight and balance was very good also was much nicer looking than the pix.Getting 150 to 200 shots per co2 and with pause ,staying in the 380 fps range for 120 shots it was very accurate even more so than several pellet pistols I own will hit cans at up to 75 feet and with BBs thats impressive Things I would have changed:Nothing at this price What others should know:trigger is a plus very light crisp and accurate, accuracy only suffers with quick shots which can be componsated with pistol movement easily and power regained with a pause of a few seconds.Got 450 fps for a high low 300s for a low until you get around 125 to 150 shots in then a big drop.very cost effective and fun... also uses the crosman c-11 mags BEST BUY IMHO and otherwisw LOL
Things I liked:Best Deal in air pistols period. Gets 200 plus accurate shots per co2.Uses the c-11 clips.Very well built it has a weak point in the front but only if dropped.I didnt drop it and hope I dont. There is a place under the front sight where the plastic meets together..But this is a heavy pistol and has a lot of metal in it... Things I would have changed:Nothing at this or a higher price!!!If it had a blowback it would cost more and waste more gas for the effect ..of the blowback What others should know:This pistol is more accurate than any of my pellet pistols with the exception of my 2240 crosman and Ive got the G P-23 a daisy a crosman 357w a G Pt 80 a crosman c-11 bb ! shot 180 copperheads as fast as I could figured it was gona lose pressure but when I pulled the co2 it had a ton left I mean enough to freeze the cartridge a frosty white, what a waste lesson learned...
Things I liked:Everything ...This is the most REAL looking AIR GUN EVER and ive got a real .45 revolver to compare it to.Scary to say the least.Don't wave this one around or someone will call the PO-PO in a hurry!!! Things I would have changed:NOTHING AT THIS OR EVEN A HIGHER PRICE!!!! What others should know:I can't see anyone making a more realistic looking AIRGUN it is Massive in size and as accurate as a pellet pistol at 10 meters with touching groups most of the time. Chrony was 418 to 440 FPS after I had Shot 18 rounds before the test Very nice look, feel weight, and balance. I am glad I got one cause when this one catches on its GONE >Look for the limited flag before the backorder, I am sure...
Things I liked:Well worth the money, great for plinking cans.nicer looking in the hand than pictured, mine didnt have any Barrel droop as pictured Things I would have changed:More fps... What others should know: NOT a target gun, best I could chrony was 322FPS with RWS Basic or Hobbies. Gets around 270 fps with a CPHP.Shoots a little high even bottomed out on the rear sight.accuracy of a BB pistol but good for winter and no CO2 cost being a springer..
Things I liked:EVERYTHING... Things I would have changed:NOTHING... What others should know:I've used em all in .25 cal in my "walther Falcon Hunter" and nothing compares to the groups one hole with all others touching or near touching at 70 ft measured. Before I tried these H&N Hollowpoints were my choice..and they are still a Great pellet. When I switched to these I was shooting left and low but they were great groups so I readjusted my scope and WOW..
Things I liked:Everything Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Shoots like my crosman 1077 but no co2 and I can use it in cold weather .Got a consistant 470 per chrony with lead pellets....
Things I liked:weight, balance, realistic ,clip release in trigger ,grips, blowback with lock to rear when empty, power, gets over 100 shots even with a double tap or rapid fire. Things I would have changed:safety takes two hands, adjustable rear sight although its acurate as is. What others should know:If you pull the trigger on safety and there are BBs in the clip they fall out the barrel, but not when firing. If you dont let the co2 regain power by a pause it will not fire but it does not jam all trivial once you know it will happen...accuracy is dead on unless you do rapid fire in the third or fourth clip then accuracy suffers due to power drop
Things I liked:Looks and fells like a real gun Things I would have changed:0 What others should know:shoots wel for a bb gun better than a lot of pellet pistols believe it or not gets over 400 fps per chrony and over 100 shots per co2
Things I liked:uniform no dents or defects Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:some guns shoot better with the copperheads and some with these which are a tad heavier and bigger example p23 likes these my walther prefers the copperheads just an observation with my pistols
Things I liked:Shoots great up to 35 yrds and beyond.Plenty of power got 715 with gamo raptor and 656, 654 ,666, 678, with rws Hobbies 7 gr lead pellet.with the ultra crosman pellets over 10 gr got in the mid 500 range
I got in the 550 fps range but even though they are slower they hit much harder point of impact was minimal Things I would have changed:Make it more expensive LOL its a goof just kiddin. I goofed and payed a lot more from another vender should have stuck with PA but I thought this gun was supposed to cost $300.00 should have checked with the BEST PYRAMYD AIR shame on me and my wallet... What others should know:Beats the more expensive Beeman by a mile but a much larger gun. Has good to great balance though. The pictures do not do this gun justice I can tell you that. This gun is suprisingly not that hold sensitive just get a mild grid with the holding hand and rest the pistol on top of your free hand just like a bag and your there ,took little adjustment on the sights hits cans right out of the box surprisingly inexpensive for a gun of this quality but hey its RWS and if your steady you can easily shoot one handed
Things I liked:BEST PELLET FOR RUGER AIR HAWK Things I would have changed:NADA What others should know:Ive never had any luck grouping with pointed pellets and yes Ive tried RWS and H&N mostly in .22 but I tried everything with the Air Hawk, RWS, H&N, CPHP, crosman ultra magnum, Beeman hollowpoints, beeman wadcutters, RWS lead Ball, hobbies and even the field pellets then Daisy pointed ,daisy wadcutters, and many more to include JSB exact which got the best groups at 1" I wanted to get rid of the gun but shes a beauty Finally I ordered some Beeman pointed .177 for a pistol that liked them and decided to try a few with no intention of adjusting my sights from the JSB s It was stacking 10 round groups at 22 yrds but to the left so hey, I readjusted my rear sights to center em and WOW It can pick off a pop can tab at 50 feet open sights 9 outta 10 times with a pellet thats under $5.00 for 500.Were talkin Daisy prices here. By the way the Daisy bbs will change your mind on BB accuracy.Long review I know but I like to save someone some grief. This took months to figure out.Ive seen a few people that were having the same problem with the Air hawk I think its the power and recoil but this 8 plus gr Tamed the beast down and she is POWERFUL.
Things I liked:EVERYTHING WITH THE RIGHT PELLET Things I would have changed:goose egg What others should know:Ive never had any luck grouping with pointed pellets and yes Ive tried RWS and H&N mostly in .22 but I tried everything with the Air Hawk, RWS, H&N, CPHP, crosman ultra magnum, Beeman hollowpoints, beeman wadcutters, RWS lead Ball, hobbies and even the field pellets then Daisy pointed ,daisy wadcutters, and many more to include JSB exact which got the best groups at 1" I wanted to get rid of the gun but shes a beauty Finally I ordered some Beeman pointed .177 for a pistol that liked them and decided to try a few with no intention of adjusting my sights from the JSB s It was stacking 10 round groups at 22 yrds but to the left so hey, I readjusted my rear sights to center em and WOW It can pick off a pop can tab at 50 feet open sights 9 outta 10 times with a pellet thats under $5.00 for 500.Were talkin Daisy prices here. Things I liked:Metal reciever with Blowback simulation can be field striped. Co2 in the magazine alowing me to remove ammo and co2 for dry fire trigger practice,Trigger is good for a Blowback action gun,Power over 400 FPS Things I would have changed:Gun is a bit light in weight which is a plus for some but I like em heavier What others should know:The gun is made well all plastic is Glock quality in fact it reminds me of that gun with the metal upper and polimer lower. The trigger needs to be pulled quick with a 2 hand weaver grip.If ya squeeze it slowly ya lose power for some reason but with the co2 half empty I got 362 361 and 362 fps on a 3 shot chrony reading would have been higher if the co2 wasnt half gone still as powerful as needed for 10 yrd plinking havent got a chrony with a fresh co2 but the first few shots are startling LOL but true kinda loud if ya like that
Things I liked:what I thought I was getting Things I would have changed:What I got What others should know:Even the bolt the bolt mind you was flimsy plastic and it sticks on top of that if your strong enough to cock it its a matter of time before it breaks The barrel was cheap plastic with a steel insert I mean come on Crosman charge a few more bucks and make a useable product this is a shame
Things I liked:The .25 cal are more accurate than you would believe in the walther falcon hunter. At 25 yrds you can stack em in cloverleaf patterns the best pelley money can buy TY P/A for the best price on the web...
Things I liked:As accurate as any pellet gun at 10 meters NO DOUBT.And I include 7 other air pistols all top sellers Things I would have changed:Wish the slide handle had a lock What others should know:This one always gives me over 200 shots per powerlet if I use pellgun oil Very accurate About time it hit the top 10
Things I liked:These pellets have come a long way. I use to use em plinking or during a break in but they have improved quality control a lot, and they are now IMHO one of the best diabolo wadcutters on the market in .22 Shoot great in Beeman, Techforce, and Benjamin, rifles as well as the 2240 crosman air pistol pack a wallop and I love the expansion..Try a tin on your next order at this price what ya got to lose Things I would have changed:Not a thing What others should know:Havent had a deformed pellet out of the last 1000 ive shot they are cleaner too!
Things I liked:Everything Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:If ya don't have one your missin out on the best deal ever in a .22 cal pellet/target pistol get about 50 plus powerful shots with a powerlet and absolutely love daisy wadcutters at 2 bucks a tin, sends cans flying and accurate up to 25 yrds at this price it can not be beat always use pellgun oil its also a good way to detect a misformed powerlet which can ruin a gun I was rubbing it in once with pg oil on my finger and a deformed powerlet was very sharp otherwise it would have ruined the seals ,think this happened with a gun I had which spewed out the gas and continued with a ruined seal but no more .
Things I liked:Nice looking gun Things I would have changed:Price is way too high for a gun this light accuracy is all over the place better barrel needed, loading is difficult, they dont make extra speed loaders for this gun yet What others should know:The Dan wesson is in my opinion a much better gun
