Things I liked: This bipod looks awesome on my black-stock Stoeger X50 with Leapers 40mm scope. It is very helpful at reducing fatigue on longer ambush hunts. If properly positioned, the legs do not get in the way when cocking and the bipod does not seem to add too much weight when taking a shot. This bipod can be moved from one rifle to another fairly quickly.
Things I would have changed: Not sure if I like the spring-action leg extension. Its kind of cool to show off and pop the legs out at the range, but you have to remember to dampen the action (and sound) with your hand when hunting.
What others should know: I have not actually attempted a shot while supporting a rifle on a bipod, but I suspect doing so with a steel springer will cause an erratic shot due to the hard double recoil. Learn and practice the artillery hold to be an effective hunter with a steel spring rifle.
