Things I liked:Everything. Fair price and excellent performance. Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Spring compressor mandatory. New spring almost 2 in longer than old spring which is 25 years old. Original spring always had the (twang) when firing. New spring fires fairly harsh but without the (twang).Almost feels like a gas ram when firing. My Beeman R1 with new spring and seals avg 815 fps with 10.65 beeman Kodiaks. Brought this wonderful old rifle back to new life.
Things I liked:Ease of installation. Things I would have changed:I would make the seal out of synthetic material. It is black in color, to my knowledge this is not synthetic. My mistake if I am wrong about this. What others should know:The new seal leaks ever so slightly when using pellets over approx 10 grains. I feel a small puff of air at the breech when firing heavy pellets. I will have to try and shim the breech seal if I can find a shim.
Things I liked:Everything Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:New spring is a different design than the original one. Original spring has a helper spring 2 inches long on one end. Looks like double coils on the first 2 inch section of original spring. My Beeman R10 with this spring and new seal, fires 10.65 Kodiaks at an avg of 770 fps. I added two hardened washers at the rear of the new spring before assembly. This rifle has absolutely no spring (twang) when firing. NICE.
