Things I liked:For $40 this is a 10 star pistol really... When I bought my tempest 20 years ago this one would have cost 300-400 bucks. Accuracy is insane with a red dot on top - and so far that has been with (really) cheap ammo! Things I would have changed:The rear sight moves/floats when I charge the gun. I actually put a piece of duct tape over the screw to "lock" it in when it was set. But really for the price nothing else. Just be aware that it is somewhat difficult to charge....no big deal but I'm considering a glove for the cocking hand since I LOVE to shoot this thing so much! I would also consider changing the form factor...I mean who cares if it looks like a *real* pistol (I got plenty of those!) so go for the ergonomics and enhance the cocking comfort! What others should know:Enjoy. Not sure why anyone would buy anything else...
Things I liked:Nostalga...I had the model up from this with the rifled barrel in the 80's but they're pretty similar Things I would have changed:windage for sight adjustment would help it be a better trainer What others should know:Just shoot BBs with this - I mean, with the BB magazine and 4 pumps you can really crank off some serious quick shots with this mother!
Things I liked:They're best bang for buck for our .20's no question about that... Things I would have changed:They're too slim, yes - even for my Sheridan! What others should know:Beyond 35 yards I was getting some hairball looking flyers - I'll settle back down on my 25 and get these dialed in.
Things I liked:Great bang for buck. Does not do 1200 but this thing is a strong shooter. Got a tin of 500 Air Arms 16 grain field pelets and I'm getting groups of the size of a half dollar at 35 yards and at 720 FPS. Pierces both sides of steel cans at 35 with a 45 caliber hole on exit! Fastest pellet I found for this was RWS Hobby at 870 fps...but you need at least a 1 Grain pellet to be accurate at range with this.
The sights are nice - if you're going to use them. Has a nice solid feel to it. Trigger is simple, no nonsense. Things I would have changed:Not much for the $$$. What others should know:Yes, charging this take more effort than my father or wife can muster, but honestly I wish it was a bit stronger to pull and a bit stronger on FPS!
Things I liked:If you own a Stoeger X50 buy these pellets and forget about anything else. Things I would have changed:Zero What others should know:Get groups of a half dollar size at 35 yards in a field gun - perfecto!
Things I liked:These are very heavy and uniform - 22's shoot at 450 FPS in my Stoeger X50 Things I would have changed:I think they're fine for .22's that have larger bores but for my X50 it can take 30 seconds to load these things!!! What others should know:Just be sure you have a large bore 22 before getting...
