Things I liked:Price, quality, power... U can say all u want about this being made in China, but then again so are a lot of other great things. Its not top of the line, def not junk. Great solid rifle. If you have this but not the case hit up Beeman they will get u one for 20... If u dont have a RS2 yet go thru pyramid, theirs lacks sight globes but rocks the case. FTW Things I would have changed:Trigger. What others should know:Get this.
Things I liked:Nice little kit... Like the 500 ct tin of SUPERDOMES too, which makes me wonder why I cant find 500 ct tins outside of this kit. Things I would have changed:Nada, be smart and make some 6 target copies as soon as you get it.
Things I liked:Price, quality... My dad has one of these from when I was a kid, 25 years ago... It is still like new, so I got one. Things I would have changed:Nada... What others should know:This fits great over the Gamo logo on the Gamo gun buddy sling, so if you dont want it on your belt, put it there.
Things I liked:Inexpensive, but solid. No need to mod your gun. Also nicely padded. Things I would have changed:Add poly buckle/fasteners to "lock" or keep tight in position, as it sometimes slips toward your trigger hand position on stock, not a deal breaker though. What others should know:Crosman pellet puch fits nicely over Gamo logo on sling.
Things I liked:This rifle is amazing... Looks great, feels good and shoots with ridiculous power and accuracy. Don't waste time or money on cheap crap... Save up and get an RWS. Things I would have changed:The fact that I already wrote an extensive review of my purchase of this gun and was asked to write another, hopefully this one is actually posted. This RWS48 is great, however, it took 4 to get one that wasn't damaged while at PA. My first 4 were recieved with various stock, mount and scope damage which obviously occured while mounting and making this a combo... Great customer service, but it took me nearly a month to get an undamaged rifle. What others should know:Loctite your mount rings... The scope shifted dramatically after about 15 shots even after being Tech mounted and approved by PA... Ugly little scratches all over optics now. BEWARE, not sure if Im just used to crap triggers but the T06 almost feels like a dangerous haitr trigger, Im considering inreasing the weight. Other than the issues mention, BUY THIS GUN!!!
The trigger is not dangerous, but I can see how it might feel too light if you're used to shooting the unmodified triggers on guns like Crosman, Stoeger etc that have that notorious bad trigger (a trigger that is easily fixed btw). I have a T-05 trigger and it can be adjusted to go off during the first stage with just ounces of pull weight, but I prefer it with no first stage and any movement into stage two fires it. Everyone has their own preference tho... If you tune your Crosman triggers to be similar then it won't be such a dramatic change when switching guns. chevota at hotmail if you or anyone wants info on modding the Cros trigger
Things I liked:The look, the cocking effort, the power, the suppressor and the killer deal on pellets! I have to admit, I love the RWS48 I got right before this, and I feel a little guilty, but Ive been shooting this a lot more! Many snobs will probably dismiss this and Stoegers other guns as Chinese crap... Their loss. The stock is solid, the gun IS quiet after expected break in, this is a powerful gun and after installing a Leapers 3-9x32 bug buster with an offset mount it is a KILLER combo. I even like the trigger everyone hates, it definitely contains metal and CAN be adjusted. Things I would have changed:The option of open sights with a shrouded/silenced barrel... Thats it on complaints... What others should know:Id recommend hurrying to get the great free pellet deal, but its past... Got 5 200ct tins of Stoeger(actually H&N) brand pellets. Love it!!!
Things I liked:Quality, inexpensive mount... Need a solid offset mount? Look no further. Things I would have changed:Nothing. What others should know:Works well paired with a Leapers Bug Buster...
Things I liked:Heard great things about the 392 and PA... Things I would have changed:7th damaged product sent to me(front sight post bent at 10 to 15 degrees to the left), this is the 6th review without vulgarity or the mention of anything restricted that won't get published because it isn't positive. What others should know:Don't bother leaving an honest review if your experience was negative... They don't publish those. ie My 4 totally honest RWS48 reviews.
Things I liked:Great little gun, all wood and metal aside from a few components. Better choice IMO than the Red Ryder. Things I would have changed:Nothing. Maybe make it in the States...
Things I liked:Tough, heavy duty steel... Nice for practice. Things I would have changed:Add bolts and wingnuts instead of pins on pivot points. Pin popped off during pulling the target up after LITERALLY 10 shots, miraculously lost... Replaced it with a little bolt no problem...
Things I liked:My Stoeger x20s loves these and the Silver Arrows... The 6 coons Ive ended with one shot in the past 2 months dont like these pellets AT ALL. Things I would have changed:Id prefer the H&Ns as they're a dollar or so cheaper and I'd love 500ct tins with threads... What others should know:Aside from CPHPs these are THE HP pellet to buy.
