Things I liked:This is one sweet air rifle. My 10th airgun over the years, and first PCP. Mine is a .22. Very accurate, very quiet, fine trigger and easy to shoot accurately. Ambi stock (I'm a leftie). I've been shooting target at 50 and 25 yards, if the wind is light and I do my part it shoots with my target 10/22. Beats my best HP springer (RWS 48). Easily busts crows at a measured 67 yards, and doesn't even wake up the cat sleeping next to me. Things I would have changed:I'd like to see a single shot loading ramp for pellets like Predators that are too long to fit in the otherwise excellent magazines. Maybe a little lighter weight overall for easier field carry, but is already lighter than my RWS 48, I'm not complaining. What others should know:Tackdriver. Powerful. Very quiet. This rifle is a winner made in USA you will be pleased, and Pyramydair support is first class. .
Things I liked:This pellet groups best of nine different pellets shot for group at 50 yds from my .20 RWS 48. When I shoot well I get 10 shots under an inch from the bench with artillery hold and Bushnell Trophy 6-18 x 40. FTS also shoot well from my vintage Sheridan Blue Streak. Things I would have changed:These pellets are pricy but worth it for the accuracy I'm getting in my rifle.
Things I liked:This is an update on my review of my .22 Marauder one year ago. It started out great and after several thousand pellets it just gets better. I have tested many different pellets for group at 25 and 50 yds and most accurate for me is Crosman Premier Heavies (in the box). Many fine groups, competitive in Field Target. I've settled my tune to where I get 29 shots at 900 - 920 fps with the CPH and a 2700 psi fill. This may seem a little fast to some of you, but accuracy has been outstanding. The supurb trigger makes a big difference for me. I took this rifle on a ground squirrel hunt last spring and got a lot of head shots, the Marauder is so quiet the squirrels don't know you're there. I use a pump with no problems, magazines still work fine after thousands of pellets, they are very convenient in the field. I also bought the single shot adaptor and recommend it highly, it allows the option to convert the Maruder to a first class single shot when desired, and easily handles long pellets like JSB Predators. Things I would have changed:Not a thing. I did epoxy the sling swivels after they started turning loose in the field, no big deal. What others should know:You will love this rifle.
