Things I liked:Overall fit and finish is good, considering the plastic stock and price point. I was very satisfied with the metalwork and the feel of the mechanism while cleaning the barrel, mounting the scope and cocking the gun. Adjusting the comb of the stock was simple after reading the manual, and it placed my eye at the proper level for the scope. The weight of the gun and the cocking effort was very reasonable, given the advertised power level. I liked the nearly vertical pistol grip-it felt pretty natural. I was also happy that the one piece scope mount had a recoil stop pin, and that the rings had a grippy type of rubber substance to hold the scope. I appreciated the scope reticle and clearness, after adjusting the ocular bell for my eyes-it should make estimating holdover much easier at distance. Things I would have changed:The weather!!! I've not been able to shoot the gun due to weather in this part of the country, and my wife doesn't like the idea of an indoor range... After I get a few hundred rounds through the gun I'll update this review. I fired one round out into the snow to uncock the gun after cleaning; I think I will probably use expanding foam to fill the stock and eliminate the noise it transmits to the shooter after I make sure there are no early failures. What others should know:DO clean the bore with GooGone as has been said in other places. I got a tremendous amount of dark, nasty stuff(?) out of the bore that I'm sure would have affected accuracy and longevity of the barrel. I used about 15 or so bore patches before getting a fairly clean one out of the bore.
Things I liked:Due to the low temperatures here in Wyoming it will be a little while before co2 will work to its potential, so I haven't attempted to shoot the gun yet. I appears to be as indicated in the other positive reviews, and at this point I'm pleased with the pistol considering the price point. Things I would have changed:I wasn't very happy with the grips, as they are slightly small for my hand. They are also made of plastic which is not always bad in itself, but they need trimming and fitting where they join together. Serviceable, but not the best. No real need for custom grips, just not as nice as I would like. What others should know:As always, Pyramid Air is definitely the place to go for good service and prices. The plastic in other areas of the pistol are of no concern to me as I plan to modify the pistol with custom parts; in the mean time it will serve as a good plinker.
