Main Operating Loading Firing Adjustments Safety Loading Pellets - Put the air rifle "On Safe."
- Point the air rifle in a SAFE DIRECTION.
- Cock and open the bolt by squeezing the bolt latch to unlock and pulling the bolt handle all the way back until you hear two clicks and the bolt stays rearward.
- Place one pellet, nose first, into the loading port (breech)(Fig 4). This is a single shot pellet rifle. Load no more than one pellet at a time.
- Lightly push the pellet into the barrel by closing the bolt and returning the bolt handle all the way forward until you have heard two clicks. DO NOT jam the bolt forward. This will damage your air rifle.
- Be sure the bolt is fully closed and locked into position before firing. If it is not closed and fully locked, the pellet may not be discharged.
Unloading Pellets NOTE: The air rifle must be charged with CO2 when following thse steps, but remember, do not store our air rifle with a full CO2 cartridge.
- Aim the air rifle in a SAFE DIRECTION, take it "Off Safe," cock and close the bolt, and squeeze the trigger to fire. You may also unload your air rifle by following the directions listed under Removing a Jammed Pellet.
Removing a Jammed Pellet - Do not reload the air rifle.
- Put the air rifle "On Safe."
- Empty and remove the CO2 cartridge.
- Open the bolt.
- Insert a ramrod of the proper size into the barrel. (Start at the muzzel).
- Push the jammed pellet into the pellet loading port (forward of the bolt )(Fig 8).
- Do not try to reuse that pellet.
- If you are not able to unjam your air rifle by following the unloading procedure, take no further action. Crosman Corporation or an Authorized Service Station will unjam your air rifle.
