    Operating Instructions


    The air pistol mod. HW 40 PCA is operated by the way of pre-cornpressed air.

    Cocking the pistol.
    - draw hammer in rearward direction
    - lift cocking arm and turn it anti-clockwise to the front (safety is set automatically
    during operation)
    - load the pellet precisely and straight into the barrel (see pic. Inserting a pellet)
    - turn cocking arm clockwise backwards;
    by doing so the air will be pre-compressed and you need more strength to shut the air pistol.
    - press cocking arm down until the hammer has exactly snapped shut; ensure snap retention i. e. with your thumb.

    CAUTION:
    When you use a backstop, it is important to remember that they will wear out with continued use. Because of this you should always places your backstop where it will be safe, and check it carefully before and after each use. A severe rebound or ricochet is an indication that the backstop is faulty and you should stop using it immediately.
