    The Sport Owners Manual

    Introduction:
The Sport is a spring operated break action air rifle and is fitted with a precision rifled steel barrel. The air rifle is available in .22 caliber and is designed for use with waisted lead pellets.
A wide selection of pellets is available from Webley & Scott International Ltd. The use of steel darts may damage the barrel rifling.
The Sport features a two - stage trigger unit, with automatic safety catch and a mechanism which prevents the trigger from being accidentally pulled when the barrel assembly is in the open position. Adjustable open sights are fitted as standard.

    Cocking and Loading:

With an open hand, tap the barrel downwards to release the barrel lock. Pull down on the barrel as far as it will go-the safety catch situated in front of the trigger will automatically engage and prevent the trigger from being pulled.

Whilst holding the barrel open, push a pellet flush into the breach and return the barrel to its closed position.
Ensure the area behind the target, is clear and a suitable pellet backstop is used,
Push the safety catch fully forward only when you intend to fire the rifle. If you wish to re-apply the safety, catch it will be necessary to recock the barrel assembly.
Aim the rifle at the target and squeeze the trigger to fire.
