Good things come in small packages, and the Russian-made IZH 61 is no exception!
This repeating air rifle is so much fun to shoot, you'll definitely have a tough time putting it down. A spring-powered gun, the IZH 61 is easy to cock and can be used by adults and youngsters (with adult supervision).
The highly adjustable trigger is one of the most interesting features of this rifle. Not only can you adjust the first-stage overtravel and pull weight of the second stage, but you can also adjust the position of the trigger! Guns costing many, many times more than the IZH 61 don't have all those features.
The synthetic stock has a raised cheekpiece and the length of the stock is adjustable (31" to 33"). The rear sight is a fully adjustable notch. The front sight is hooded. Load five pellets into the removable clip, insert it, cock the sideleverThe cocking lever of a spring piston gun located on the side of the action.

You can add a red dot sight on the 11mm dovetails to get even more accuracy from this rifle. Speaking of accuracy...you won't outgrow the potential of this gun! The accuracy of the hammer-forged steel barrelThe tube through which projectiles travel when they are fired. It may be rifled or smooth.

Things I would have changed:The Gamo match is okay but it didn't bring out the accuracy potential of the IZH 61 which responded much better to Crosman Premiers. The Gamo match was equivalent to Crosman Competition Wadcutters. Of course, every rifle likes different pellets.
What others should know:The IZH 61 is a fantastic deal and the Crosman trap is a very good one.
