Issue #36: Walther Lever Action, R1 History + Q&A

The Walther Lever Action CO2 rifle is a dead-ringer for the Winchester 30/30 (1894 model). Tom takes you on a tour of the airgun, which looks and feels so much like the firearm that you'll be hard-pressed to tell the difference.

If you've never read Tom's Beeman R1 book, then you may not know the history of the R1 Supermagnum air rifle. Tom takes a trip down memory lane as he recounts how the gun was developed.

The Q&A segment has a couple questions about scopes. Sighting-in a scope can be an easy, cheap & quick process...if you know how to do it. Tom leads you through the steps and shows you how to do it in 5-10 minutes. Another listener asks about scopes and spring guns. Years ago, a spring gun would break almost any scope mounted on it. Times have changed, and Tom tells you a bit more about that.

Hi BB... this is iyonk, you padcast BIG fan...

would there be any chance for the podcast to be aired more than once a month? how many download could help the ratting so the airwaves could be more than once in a month?

i learn alot by listening your podcast and reading your blog.... if theres's any chance you could make the podcast twice a month... the begining of the month is a usual podcast and the mid in the month especialy for question and answer since i know the the questions would be piled up since inly a few of them aired in a month...

hope you could please consider the thought and some sponsor would support the podcast...

thanks alot for your BIG contribution in airgun world BB...

YOUR PODCAST ROCKS! i love them all...

iyonk,

Right now I am too busy to do more than one each month. The television show has eaten up all my time this year. But we are aware that several people have asked about a heavier podcast schedule, and we are thinking about some things we can do to make it possible.
