I am new to this and am really confused.I want a good not too expensive air rifle for less than $300 with scope and I also would like a wooden stock with a rubber recoil pad.I need to practice a lot to get decent with a springer and also I will use it for squirrels and rabbits. So far all I have seen in this are .177?Do you have any suggestions?I do not care for the composite stocks other wise there would be a lot more choices.
i know this is a little off topic, but you mentioned a difference between the benji 392 and the sheridan blue streak other then the caliber of course. i never know there was a difference between the to actualy, but ive only been seriously into airguns for about 10 years now (and needless to say benji pistols and rifles have been at my side the entire way). i also noticed a new crosman offering, the legacy i think it was called. looked like a nitro piston but with a camo stock and its advertised at only 620 fps, i know its early to tell but that might be a gun you should evaluate for beginners.
