Air Venturi G4 Hand Pump Reviews

It is hard to beat having a hand pump to fill your gun and while it is rather inexpensive to maintain and fill a tank to be able to easily fill your gun the cost to get one is as much as another gun... long story short you can fill your gun anywhere any time without having to worry... awesome!

i would like to see some type of swivel and clamp for the hose to make it a little easier to store... really not that big a deal

It takes a little effort to put 3000 psi into an airgun so don't think you can get it done fast.

It seems to be efficient in terms of how much effort is needed to pump.

It needed Teflon plumber's tape on the threads of the adapter . Otherwise it leaked. They should have included this. I found out about this fix on a PA forum...

Apparently they Do Not spend very much time or money on technical writing (poor instruction manual).

built like a tank, very sturdy pump, pumps to 3000 psi with out any problems,

include adapters or a fosters female quick connect.

it will take you most of the morning to pump up your reservoir from empty so make sure you eat a hearty breakfast cause this will burn all the calories you just packed on, a work out and a half.

Pump works as described , you need all of your weight to get full-stroke and good PSI.

Need all of 200 lb. to get full-stroke and PSI. out of this pump.

Don't let your air reservoir go completely empty. Charge it when you get to the point where your shots are lacking. It takes a lot of pumping to fill a completely empty cylinder. Once you approach 200 bar (3000 lbs.)the pump gets pretty difficult to compress so save yourself any unnecessary pumping.

Easy to set up out of the box. Heavy duty design. Clear instructions and parts list. Spare o-rings. It's a workout! Connecting to my Hatsan cylinders was easy!

Parts availability - if you bust the bleeder valve, good luck getting a replacement. Also the spare o-rings are great, but they are not labeled and are loosely bagged together - hard to tell what is what, and where it should go. A tether to help stow the hose when not in use would be great - so the hose isn't just laying on the ground in the middle of the way.

My pump was manufactured and packed as a Hatsan product. If you are expecting Air Venturi, you may be in for a surprise.... But is the EXACT SAME THING AS THE G4 they just stamp a different label on it and stuffed it in new packaging. So no worries. Fills my Hatsan air cylinders with some sweat, but it's a good little cardio workout. It is not hard to pump correctly and it does not take very long - it is just a matter of work haha. I am Impressed with the worksmanship of the pump. I am also impressed with Pyramyd - very impressed. There was an issue with an item I received all the way in Maui, but they were customer service world champs and took care of me from half a world away. You can trust Pyramyd to make things right. Now get to pumping so you can get back to shooting!

I have the air force pump for almost 10 years now. I purchased this because my air force pump finally broke. I hope this product will last just as long or longer. I have repaired my air force pump and it's actually working just as good as brand new.

A bigger foot plate for more stability, and that way it would stand up by its self.

Smooth pumping. Very well built. You will break a sweat pumping your PCP.

Need a shorter HP line or a 90 degree swivel fitting. The HP line just sticks out and will kink if you try to fold it up.

It take me about 60 pumps to pump from 2000 psi to 3000 that's 30 accurate shots from my marauder, I depend on it, the nearest scuba shop is 45 miles away.

I was hesitant to buy this pump after reading some of the negative reviews.I think the people that had problems with it got a lemon.Mine worked flawlessly and no leaks.Seems very heavy duty and well made. PCPs are brand new to me and this was my first experience,I was pleased that everything went very well and it was very easy to use. Now grant it,I cannot comment on the longevity of this pump since I just got it,But mine worked great and did what it was supposed to do.

Make the platform for your feet larger

Worked great for me so far,And the new Hatsan Galatian rifle is an awesome airgun! If your on the fence about a PCP,,,, GO FOR IT! Im sold!

Nice n heavy duty. All metal construction and it breaks down easily so you can store it in a safe spot.

Maybe make the manor meter a little larger its kinda hard to see while your pumping.

This is a cheaper model pump n it works great you really don't need to spend more on another brand pump.

Just do yourself a fovor and get a air tank, preferably a 4500 psi 90 cu I. So u don't have to refill Ur tank every day. A big tank will give I at lest 60 to 80 fills. And a whole lot more fun.
