What others should know:Well made, need a few more cleaning pellets. If you dont have a cleaning kit box, get one, a few small parts. Pellets are bonus, but would rather have a box to store kit. |  |

What others should know:How can RWS and PA sell this terrible product?? The cleaning rod is utterly worthless because the attachments will NOT attach to them. This is the worst kit imaginable. I am only keeping it because I needed the lubricants and I dug up an old rod I already had. ROTTEN product. |

Does the cleaning rod in this kit have a ball bearing swivel at the handle, like the Dewey cleaning rods ? - Things I liked:Spiral jag, brush, oil and lube, 3" needle.
Things I would have changed:No need for the Superdome Pellet or the paper targets in a cleaning kit.
What others should know:The brush, jag, and cleaning rod are quality built. Wish the kit came with a couple hundred more cleaning pellets (currently 25 count) or cleaning patches. Oil and lube containers are small but will go a long way. Overall a good cleaning kit. I'm pleased.CommentsBy William from USA on 2013-03-29 0 I agree. I'd rather have more cleaning pellets and patches instead of the targets and ammunition. - Things I liked:Well all the things that I would need for cleaning my rifle were there in the kit. There is several years worth of oil and cleaning supplies if you follow the recommendations for cleaning and oiling your springer.
Things I would have changed:Targets and pellets are not cleaning supplies, they need not be included. A sturdier rod would be a better addition and a small container of barrel cleaning fluid.
What others should know:By comparison to my rifle cleaning supply purchases for my 243, 7MM and 375 caliber hunting weapons; This kit is Chinese quality at German Prices. - Things I liked:liked the length of cleaning rod

What others should know:The threads on the rod are 8-32 if brushes,swabs,etc are needed. - Things I liked:A clean weapon is vital to accuracy. Good starter kit for your .22 air rifle.
Things I would have changed:Would be nice if they included the oil hyperdermic and not just the needle.
What others should know:Buy more cleaning pellets if you use your weapon frequently. You use up the ones they give you after a couple cleanings. - Things I liked:Felt like this was money well spent.Superdome pellets work excellent in my springer.There is plenty of lubricating oil,will last a long time.My barrel cleaning rod works just fine.
Things I would have changed:Needs barrel cleaning pads.Has the adapter for pads with cleaning rod butt no pads
What others should know:A little oil go,s a long ways - Things I liked:This is a great kit for someone looking for a complete .22 cleaning package. The jag and brush both fit well on the the cleaning rod. If there was an issue as previous posts suggest it is fixed. The RWS oils should last a long time if serviced at RWS specs.

What others should know:The back of the package has more detailed and different cleaning intervals then came in the manual with my RWS 34. - Things I liked:Ease of use.

Things I would have changed:the pellets and targets are not needed, instead include cleaning patchs and adapters. VERY IMPORTANT: this product has jag and brush ending with female outlet, so does the cleaning rod end, (if you look closely on the picture you will see it, I myself should have paied more attention) I give 1 star solely because of the product design being bad. Pyramid air reps said there is no adapter and I got all the part that kit has, I would like them to take a closer look to this .22 cal kit and try to mount the jag/brush on the rod. As I understood the .177 cal does not have this problem and comes with correct rod.
What others should know:If you buy this thing you will have to get a separate cleaning rod I got mine for 5$ at academy, surprisingly the jag and brush fit that rod well. - Things I liked:The RWS Superdome pellets seem quite accurate in my TX200. The needle oiler is handy and so far the lubricants are excellent.
Things I would have changed:I would suggest dropping the targets and the RWS Superdome pellets. Put a reasonable number of felt cleaning pellets in the kit, a dozen are no more than a teaser and for a $35.00 CLEANING KIT you should at least get a full package of 80 or 100. The cleaning rod, nylon cleaning brush and jag are unusable as they are all "female threaded" in different thread sizes with no adapter to attach them. Possibly the kit I received was just missing the adapter. My personal opinion this kit was a waste of my money, and effort. I purchased this kit for convenience so that I would not have to research all the products to assemble a kit. This and a Gamo ready made cleaning and maintenance kits are the only complete kits I have found as of yet on the market. If not already done, I think it would be super if Pyramyd would assemble a complete cleaning for their customer's convenience.
What others should know:For the amount spent you can get specifically the items you need if you wish to do the research. One additional option besides the shortcomings captioned above would be for RWS to offer this kit with the choice of a cleaning rod or a pull through style cleaning snake for non-break barrel rifles.CommentsBy Alexandre from USA on 2012-01-23 0 Yes, I confirm this, I contacted pyramid air and they said they are selling this kit for past 10 years as is. It is quite disappointing that they have never opened it and seen that actually rods are not completable with jag and brush. I dont understand how this product got 4.5 stars, when it is obviously having such a huge problem. - Things I liked:A complete set for the occasional "gun cleaning".I also like that the set comes with a bonus=500 pellets and some targets as well.

What others should know:Shouldn't really use a brass bore brush for air rifle barrels. - Things I liked:Overall nice value. The Superdomes were a very nice addition, I hadn't tried these yet, and they're great.
Things I would have changed:Sell the 500 count Superdomes separately! - Things I liked:Nice little kit... Like the 500 ct tin of SUPERDOMES too, which makes me wonder why I cant find 500 ct tins outside of this kit.
Things I would have changed:Nada, be smart and make some 6 target copies as soon as you get it. - Things I liked:Good Kit~ needed oiler and oil.
Things I would have changed:Don't really care about the cleaning rod, lub or targets~ AND ADD More felt pellets!!! - Things I liked:500 count of RWS super domes, they are great pellets in the RWS 48 and 34. Well made cleaning rod and a nylon brush to protect the rifling (versus brass in regular gun cleaning kits). I put one cleaning pellet in the barrel and followed it with a pellet before firing the gun to clean out the barrel.
Things I would have changed:Include cotton cleaning patches to use with the cleaning jig. You could use the cleaning jig to just push the cleaning plug though the barrel, but why when you can fire it though? And on a 48 you would have to push the cleaning plug towards the breech, and that is not what you want to do.
What others should know:Clean your lead pellets with soapy water, rinse well, and then after they are dry spray with WD-40 to protect. The RWS super domes are pretty clean (versus other brands I have used), but after washing them I found plenty of lead flakes that would over time clog the rifling. - Things I liked:nice kit. good quality
