Things I liked: Full tang blade ( solid bar of steel ), decent quality grips, they are fairly resistant to chipping or cracking. Good steel choice, it holds an edge well. The design feels right in the hand.
Things I would have changed: Possibly a change in steel, although the current type is sufficient. and the snap button retainier on the sheath fell off, but I fixed that. The medallion thingy in the handle of mine fell off, no biggie, but some of the rivets are a little loose; maybe steel ones would have been better?
What others should know: This is a better than decent quality knife, and the price is attractive. The balance point is at the finger guard, so chopping chores are a little difficult. This is predominantly a skinning knife, so the balance is right. And... Oh, yeah, I would buy another one if I needed to, and I would recommend this to a friend.
