By thomas from USA on 2010-12-05 09:01:29 Things I liked:As an avid firearm owner for many years, I have come to appreciate fine quality in guns. After buying and returning 3 of 4 guns from Pyramid, I finally figured out that "cheap" would not satisfy me. The Evanix line attracted me with its remarkable appearance and specs. I love the look, shape, and feel of the awesome walnut stock. After a couple of treatments with Gunstock Polish & Re-finisher, the wood has a very elegant satin look. The finish on the metal parts is also excellent. The side cocking lever is so smooth and easy to actuate, especially when compared to the Benjamin Marauder, that rapid fire is quite easy. I am able to shoot 4 magazines (40 rounds) B4 pressure drops under 100bar and recharging is necessary. The refill process is quick and easy with the nice probe connection to the reservoir. The gun weight seems just about right. Not too heavy to hold freehand but heavy enough for a stable shooting platform. OVERALL: A piece to be proud of and enjoy for years down the road.Things I would have changed:The pressure gauge is not well "printed" with the readings and I would prefer "pounds" to "bar" markings. Just a preference, so that it read similarly to the gauge on the scuba adapter. BTW, why are the adapters so chincy with the hose length. Twice as long would be miles more convenient. What others should know:The magazines are a bit difficult to remove due to the double ball bearing mounting system. Loading is easy enough the access to pressing the cartridge out of the receiver is tight. Probably just something I need to get used to. It is made up for with the ten shot loads. Nicely manufactured magazines. Solid - all metal, not like the flimsy plastic ones for the Benjy Marauder. I bought 3 extras to be able to shoot a full air charge (5 magazines in all) with different types of pellets for shooting comparisons.. | ![]() |

Things I would have changed:I have had the gun only a few months, but I love everything about it. If they had a .25 caliber gun, I would be the first to buy it. I had an extra O-ring put in the magazines to hold the pellets more snug by a gunsmith in NC who is awesome with these Korean guns, and he also made the gun even more quiet and reduced the trigger pull to 1.5 lbs.
What others should know:I did develop a slight air leak after a full fill, but was amazingly simple for me to fix with a new O-ring at base of air tube. No problems since. Also buy the O-rings that Pyramyd sells for the fill adapter, as you may need those with your fill adapter in the future - they are not expensive and you get enough that should last a while.
