GS950 Air Rifle

Lovely stock. Good power for not a lot of cocking effort. Weight makes it feel solid, but not overly heavy. Any adult male should be able to cock and tote this gun in the field.I actually like the yellow Beeman logo that is in the stock. A lot of people cover them with electrical tape when hunting. Your choice, but it has never been an issue with me. Has the look and feel of a firearm. Trigger is decent for a springer.

Well, I understand the real purpose of the muzzle break is to help you get leverage for cocking, but really why do you have to drill holes in this barrel extender and pretend a pellet rifle needs a muzzle break? Sort of silly. There are these little black plastic screw head covers over the two screws near the breech. They kept falling out so I just put them up. Honestly they did nothing for the looks of the gun anyway, and actually could be a hazard as you need to keep an eye on the tightness of those screws underneath.

With a good tune this rifle will hold nickle size five shot groups at 25 yards all day with Crossman Premier Domed 14.3 grain in the brown box. Don't go any heavier though. I couldn't get usable Accuracy with any other pellet, including Predator Poly-Mags, Silver Bear, Silver Sting, Silver Arrow, and Crow Magnum all by Beeman. I have no idea what I ever will do with those pellets. That said even with a good tune THIS RIFLE IS HOLD SENSITIVE! You must use the artillery hold and you must allow the gun to twist, rock, and roll. Just barely hold the gun and you'll be pleasantly surprised. There is no spring twang. Just a thump. It is fairly loud for a springer. The rifle is powerful enough to dispatch a nuisance coon at about eight yards with a shot to the brain.
