By ted from USA on 2007-09-18 22:15:59 Things I liked:compaired to other airguns i have owned in the passed the varmint hunter has a very good feel about it. The weight of the rifle is formitable and it has an incredibly realistic recoil. I would find this rifle to be a perfect gun for target practise in suburbia. The power of this gun was surprising for the price at point blank with the light pba ammo (crap only good for short range) it went 2/3 the way threw a 2x4 and at about 10 yards threw a racoon. At close range it is very good at taking care of all those unwanted pest around the house the laser was easy to sight in and is great for close range.Things I would have changed:the scope is crap the flashlight is poitless and the triger has a very slow action to it What others should know:this gun is anything but a toy dont buy it for a child. if your an avid shooter u better start workin out cause this thing is a pain to cock. all in all its not a bad buy in my eyes |

Things I would have changed:more support on the receiver would make the gun last longer which they have done if u buy a new model
What others should know:I only shot mine about 1200 times till one day the damn thing snapped in half on me because i had the old version without the bottom brace and different receiver cap. Also do not use pba ammo it sucks at acurracy even though it is faster you dont need more velocity the gun is quite fast I only ONLY use gamo rocket ammo it is a heavy ammo with a copper bead in the tip
