Socom Gear Kel-Tec PMR30 CO2 Airsoft Pistol

I like the look and feel of this unique pistol. I love the POWER!!!

The trigger is a tad heavy.

Clean and lube your airgun and it will live for decades.

It is a licensed copy of the KelTec PMR30. It looks very similar to the real firearm, has the KelTec logo, polymer frame and metal/polymer slide. It is airsoft. (apparently there is also a .177 BB version) . It has nice fiber optic sights just like the real firearm

THE TRIGGER-- almost everything about it is just as bad as others says. the only thing positive I can say about the trigger experience: if you can learn to shoot this thing accurately (or at all!), you will be a champ firing ANY revolver in double action. The trigger is worse than the heaviest double action revolver.

I bought this after reading all the bad reviews about the trigger because I wanted a KelTec PMR30, and I thought this would satisfy that want. I haven't fired the real firearm, but have looked at one and held one-- this gun looks and feels very very similar. I remember the front metal part of the slide was more blued on the real, than the satin black of this copy. I'm disappointed that the takedown pin is cast into the polymer frame and there does not appear to be any easy way to remove the slide. The trigger mechanism is weird at best: it seems like the trigger is cocking the recoil spring before it starts acting like a real trigger-- by then you are straining so hard that you can barely feel it breaking. Honestly, the trigger is so heavy it is almost a hallmark, the acme, the zenith, of what you don't want a trigger pull to be like! Hey,you have to have something that looks this cool, but works so bad in you collection right?

The trigger! I've got bad arthritis in my trigger finger but the trigger pull was soo heavy I honestly thought that the internals were messed up? And I thought the Ruger mk 1 had a crazy heavy trigger pull? this was so heavy that every time I tried to pull the trigger it just made a scrunch sound but never fired. I was afraid that I was going to break it if I pulled any harder. I tried my left hand and it fired with a better finger but I'm not left handed. So fill in the blanks.

Trigger pull is insane! At least for me. The pistol seems to be well built and powerful. I could say that this is overpriced for performance but I haven't broken it in yet? And the first thing that I did was take it apart to see if I could make it better. So the warranty is gone. Lol but if I could just make the trigger lighter. I know that this gun isn't super expense but it may be a little much for me to dive into amature gun smithing. I've taken it apart but I'll have to post in the future if I've destroyed it or made it better?

Pistol is fairly solid, magazine loads easily, and access for CO2 cartidge is good. Sights are great with super visibility and rear is adjustable. As Airsoft pistols go, accuracy is pretty good out to 15 yards. Much more accurate than my other 2 spring powered pistols.

The trigger !! Trigger pull is soooooo long. By the time you've pulled the trigger far enough to fire, you've almost changed your grip on the gun. And the trigger must be allowed to go fully forward before you can take your next shot. The trigger is horrible.

This is a nice pistol,but the trigger is a deal killer. The bulk of the pistol is of a quality you would expect for a gun at this price, but the trigger is so distracting that its no fun to shoot. I would not recommend this pistol to a friend.

Color,weight.

The trigger is odd, it's very heavy and just before it fires there's a very distinct click and then it moves a little further before it fires. Also the grip feels odd as well, it's thin and didn't feel natural at all. I wanted to buy the gun that it replicates, but after handling this gun I changed my mind. The price is not user friendly.

For what it's worth, this gun holds holds 20 rounds and the firearm holds 30 rounds. I returned this gun for a refund.
