Umarex XBG CO2 Reviews

I haven't owned too many BB pistols. Mainly pellet guns and a couple of Daisy rifles. Having said that, I have to say, so far, this thing is a hoot! Especially for the money! It's accurate, the FPS is quite good(especially with a fresh CO2 cartridge!), and it feels comfortable in the hand. I highly recommend it!

I would change the magazine

Value for dollar, fun blasting factor. Good ergonomics. Suitable for finishing off tree rats at very close range.

Very long double-action only trigger pull. It gets to a stage about halfway through where you can feel it load up the bb. You still have another half inch to go after that, don't let up or it can double load. Sights! Mine actually groups pretty well at 10 feet or so with Black Diamond bbs, but consistently to the right. The rear sight looks as though it has an old school dovetail knock over adjustment, but it cannot work. There is a tiny set screw and the philips screw hole would be misaligned if you could move it at all. This is a shame, the simplest cheapest adjustment would make this more effective. Oh well, just aim a little left.... Wish I could post a couple of pics but I think I am posting as guest and it won't let me.

I bought it from PA a long time ago and only recently got around to shooting it. I doubt they have changed the design much.

Very comfortable in the hand.. very accurate hard hitting. Customer service is GREAT!

If the pistol worked I would change nothing

I fired about 100 b.b.s thru it and the trigger stiffened up and would not rebound after firing It needed to be pushed forward manually. CSR sent me a no hassle replacement. the replacement pistol developed the exact same problem after about 50 b.b.s. Pistol was returned and I requested a refund.

Decent BBgun-accurate enough for plinking/target practice(I do not harm animals), plus the ammo and the powerlets(CO2s) make this a good buy

I'm not really impressed with this gun, a couple of shots will go straight and then a couple will go left or right. Not consistant at all should have saved my money and put it towards something else.

It's small, fast, reliable, accurate and hits like a freight train. What's not to like? Gets great "mileage" too. (about 130 usable shots per can) I really like the C02 loading door and quick access to the charger screw. I have three of these, so I must like'em. :o)

At this price, not much, but I'm not crazy about the trigger pull or sights as much as the M&P

Not the prettiest thing on the block, but this ~IS~ a crazy bargain! You can buy yourself a few of these for the price of one comparable BB pistol.

I feel it would make a kid happy it's light

The XBG fits very nice in hand, the 18 round magazine is easy to load and insert. This was my first C02 pistol (I am retired police officer) , I was surprised at the power. The accuracy was good, but not perfect. But shooting a round bb through a smooth 4" barrel... you can't expect perfect. Accuracy is fine to keep a 6" group at 30 feet. For the money, it is a fine gun.

Just received my order from PyramydAir. I cant believe the quality of this BB gun. Im going to get a second pistol next week before they sell out.

This is a plinking gun. I would recommend trying an inexpensive gun like this for a practice gun. You can improve your trigger pull and aim with a model like this before stepping up to a higher end target pistol. You wont be sorry. Thanks Ray....

Price, general design.

Make it more reliable. With a fresh CO2 cartridge, it fires about two times out of three trigger pulls.

If you're serious about having an airgun that's more than a toy, this is not the one.

Feels great in the hand. Easy loading mag. Easy loading co2 system. Pretty accurate. And..very strong. Don't let the price fool you, this is getting around 350-380fps and it punches through 1and1/2 inch cardboard like it's nothing. For a pistol to be so cheap yet so powerful is amazing. In other words...this pistol is worth every penny.

Add some white dots to sights.

If this is a gift to someone or even a pistol you want to add to your cart when ordering other stuff because of it's price...do it. It's definitely worth 30 bucks.

Compact. Very accurate up to 20 feet. Can get at least 5-6 mags before co2 drop off is noticiable. Trigger pull is very light. Excellent value for money.

Perhaps have the trigger break quicker rather than having the trigger break before it's almost recessed into the grip. Very small con and the only one I have.

Add some white or day glo paint on sights.

Compact, without being a real compact. Accurate even with the stock of fixed sites. Magazine holds all bbs and doesn't shoot any out of the top like then xcp model. Feels good in hand. No leaking of co2. Overall, damn fine pistol for 30 Bucks and recommend it to anyone for their collection or first time shooter

Wish trigger pull would break/fkre before being all the way back into the handle

Clean the seale before and after everyshoot and the gun should last a long time. It is load, not too load as to get you into trouble.

It was quite accurate and the co2 cartridge lasted for quite a while but it broke after 3 weeks of moderate use.

Make it last longer than 3 weeks or 3 co2 cartridges.

Look at other brands.
