Things I liked:

As I already am a proud owner of a Nickel Walther CP99 pellet pistol, I already know what to expect when it comes to Walther quality. But i must say that I was impressed with this gun. It has a nice hefty weight to it, it"s made of durable metal and a high quality polymer. Blowback with open ejection port is awesome. After the last shot is fired, the slide stayd cocked back like a real firearm.Speaking of the slide, it has a nice matte black finish ! Accuracy up to 30 ft. is pretty good. Each co2 cartridge will give you at least 100 shots as long as you put a drop of Crosman Pellgunoil on the tip of each one before charging it into the pistol..

Things I would have changed:

I"ve thpught about it for a few minutes and haven"t been ablr to come up with anything.

What others should know:

If you"re into shooting realistic looking, feeling, and performing air pistols, you won"t go wrong with thw Walther CP99 compact... If you wanna have fun with it, get at least 4 extra mags, the Walther laser, lots of Copperhead BBs, co2 powerlets and Pellgunoil to keep the fun going for a long time..

Things I liked:

Hard to tell when it never arrived.

Things I would have changed:

Actually sending the airgun after explaining the situation that instead of a CP-99 I received a set Hawke scope rings. I was informed they would take care of it. Multiple calls later they still have done nothing.

What others should know:

If they tell you they will call back in ten minutes, do not believe them.

    Things I would have changed:

White dotted front sights, adjustable rear sight. Easier to use safety and stronger holder of spring when pulled back to keep it from shooting forward while loadin

    Things I liked:

For a co2 bb auto that does everything best deal going at $60 and $9 mags. Weight, metal silide, blow back, lock back, light single action trigger, 18 shot.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Improvements would make it cost more.

    What others should know:

If it breaks, at $59.99, I'll toss it and buy another.

    Things I liked:

Very nice fit and finish with realistic look and feel. Nice and compact and super easy to hold. The magazine release is pretty cool as it can be operated on both sides and it's just below the trigger. Blowback is very good as well. Accuracy is decent but I've mounted a small laser to improve shooting experience.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine is very small - I like the full size ones. Nees white gun sight markings.

    Things I liked:

Love the looks, power, accuracy, and blowback action. I also like the red dot indicator at back of slide. My Walther PPK/S used to be my favorite BB gun, but the CP99 Compact beats it, hands down!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Although some are bothered by loading bbs and CO2, Im accustomed to this because I also own a Beretta Storm. Pyramid Air provided EXCELLENT service-Got my gun much sooner than expected. Less than 2 work days! This gun is getting difficult to find. Many retailers are out of stock. My advice.. Buy one ASAP! Your window of opportunity is closing fast!

    Good trigger and sighting.

    Things I would have changed:

The CO2 seating. The base turns clockwise and the screw to tighten the CO2 turns counter clockwise. Now do you think that is a good idea.

    What others should know:

Have the CO2 installation revised before you even consider this.

    Things I liked:

Small, pretty easy to use once you are somewhat familiar with CO2 bb guns, (the safety switch requires a little getting used to as it requires you to pull it back and push it up at the same time), fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine is very delicate. My original magazine broke after only a couple of weeks because the follower kept snapping back by accident. The plastic rod inside eventually broke into about 3 pieces, making it useless. I had to learn to be VERY careful with the follower.

    Things I liked:

Fits great in my hand and is a solid practice tool! I bought this because it looked similar in size to my Taurus G3C and ammo is.... well... we know the deal with that right now.... As someone who mostly trains/plays with firearms I only had (1) blowback pistol- a Colt Commander 1911.. While it's a great looking/feeling gun- the action is a little slow due to solid steel slide that eats up a bit more gas than I'd like it to.... The Walther CP99 is plenty accurate for defensive training (10yd and less) and the action is much "snappier" and makes the shot seem more realistic.. More shots per CO2 than I expected also

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing I can think of.....

    What others should know:

If you want a great looking and feeling training/practice/plinking pistol - don't hesitate on this one

    Things I liked:

The heft of the pistol is excellent. It does not waste CO2 cartridges and is consistent through out. I have purchased the Sig 365, actually 2 of them, and they were not consistent. The first few rounds came out of the barrel like gang busters, but then the velocity trailed off. I saw these were made in Japan and the quality is up to their standard and excellent.

    Things I would have changed:

I am old and I could not get a clear picture on the front sight. I bought some paint and painted the front sight and the interior verticals plus the lower horizontal white. Now at 20 feet, the majority of my rounds are within two inches. Not bad for a smooth bore.

    What others should know:

I'm thinking that I want to look at more Japanese produced air guns. The quality is excellent. The slide moves like it is riding on butter, rounds do not trickle out of the barrel and the consistency is incredible.

    Things I liked:

This was my first CO2 purchase and I was not disappointed at first. Compared side by side it is a true replica. I can see how it would be excellent for training. My wife loved shooting this!

    Things I would have changed:

Accuracy, needs to be better for a Walther product even though it is lower on the price point. I would pay an additional $100 for it with a rifled barrel that does not throw ammo everywhere. CO2... it is useless now sadly, the seal is gone. I have tried everything to bring the girl back but regardless of my attempts it is now just beautiful. It will not seal and I have wasted many cartridges in my fruitless attempts to get it ti work.

    What others should know:

I now own many CO2 plinkers and know that I had not abused, overtightened, used any ammo or CO2 cartridges that would cause failure in the gun. I used a small drop of Pellgun oil every cartridge and never rapid fired or early released the CO2. If you want, it buy it. Don't expect it to shoot often because it has a limited lifespan. I would suggest finding a gun that has a removable CO2/magazine combo or wait until they fix this rather disappointing problem.

    Things I liked:

The heft and finish are fantastic. In the three weeks I've had it I've shot approximately 250 rounds and only used three CO2 cylinders. Love the blow-back slide action! Gun lets you know it needs the CO2 cylinder changed when it stops cocking automatically.

    Things I would have changed:

Only issue I've had is that when loading the magazine once I had the spring-slide release unintentionally. I now hold the magazine slide manually when I'm loading BBs with my Umarex speed loader. A more positive detent on the magazine slide to keep the spring down would be nice. I'm nit-picking here as this is a very minor issue.

    What others should know:

You won't be sorry by your choice if you go with this pistol. PA was was excellent in getting this to me after my pre-order.

    Things I liked:

This gun feels extremely good in your hands. It is solidly made in every way, and not really knowing what a real Walther CP 99 feels like, I have to imagine that this is it.

    Things I would have changed:

The biggest issue with this gun is that I have yet to be able to shoot it. The really bizarre CO2 setting mechanism that they have designed does not allow you to tighten up the seal sufficiently. I started by using the same Crossman CO2 12 g cartridges that I always use And they simply discharged in the gun. I realized I might not be tightening the thumb dial Enough, so I tried again putting as much pressure on the CO2 cartridge before seating it as possible. Same thing happened. I called Umarex and asked about the problem, and the tech suggested that I switch to either Daisy or Umarex CO2 cartridges. Since the Umarex cartridges are all but impossible to get up here in Canada, I ordered a pack of daisies. They were better but only marginally. I could hear the CO2 leaking and I only got off about one magazine of BBs before the CO2 expired. I have ordered some daisy professional brand cartridges, but they have yet to arrive and I have yet to try it again.

    What others should know:

This has been a disappointing experience. I love collecting the pistols but I love shooting them more. Since I cannot get the CO2 to see properly in this gun, I have not been able to shoot it. Do not buy this gun unless you have access to Umarex CO2 cartridges. Im not saying that these will work because I cant confirm that, however if they dont work Nothing will.

    Things I liked:

Very compact, has a nice weight, is comfortable and balanced well.

    Things I would have changed:

The sighting system has no dots for alignment, which I found odd considering the maker of the gun. The safety makes it difficult to perform quick-draws.

    What others should know:

Great for beginners, small enough for children to practice with, powerful enough to use as a practical deterent in case of a break in.

    Things I liked:

Shoots fast enough to be used for some speed and defensive pistol drills. Slide is light enough that you get a reasonable number of shots out of it. They also put an almost exact copy of the actual P99c grip on it, which most people consider to be outstanding. Can be made reasonably accurate with some additional parts.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger acts like a 2 stage, but during what is normally stage 1 it pushes the BB out of the magazine into the barrel before firing, and with nothing to hold it in it will roll out if the muzzle is pointed down. They should have added a magnet or something to hold the BB in. As the actual firearm has a double/single action trigger and does not have a safety, they put together a less than ideal solution that means you won't (or at least shouldn't) be doing anything out of a holster, which was one of the reasons I bought one, it's single action only and you need two hands to take the safety off. Would have been nice if they would have either thought out the safety a little better or copied the double/single action trigger of the firearm it's a replica of.

    What others should know:

In it's stock form, accuracy suffers as it does with all blow back pistols, where the sights on the slide and barrel never really re-align the same way between shots, the tolerances between the moving parts just can't be there on something at this price point. I was able to mount a red dot using the ASG Pistol Rail Mount (which has some issues of it's own and required some modifications.) With the sight now mounted to the frame along with the barrel, and their alignment not changing (as much,) it's actually respectably accurate out to 30 feet.
