Things I liked:Excellent build quality, good weight (solid but not too heavy), terrific accuracy and a wonderfully smooth trigger.
Things I would have changed:I find the flourescent sights a little to large for my liking.
What others should know:Initial breaking and closing of the barrel is a little rough although I suspect this will change after the first 500-1000 shots. The gun shot about 5 inches high and an inch to the left out of the box at 10 meters but within 10 shots I had it shooting on target. All my groups were dime size or less shooting RWS Hobby pellets which are probably not the most accurate for this gun especially early on when velocities are not consistent. I purchased this gun for my 8 year old son. He can barely cock it by himself but I do not let him try without a helping hand as it is difficult for him to hold proper form and the risk of injury from a barrel spring is too high. Otherwise it is an excellent gun to learn with and once he has masered iron sights I will let him get a scope.

Things I liked: The mechanical operations,ie cocking, trigger action, safety engage and disengage all sound and feel like you are operating a precise and superbly engineered air rifle. It is very accurate (not too hold sensitive). It is light enough to shoot off hand and the cocking effort is reasonable.I don't think the 18 lbs listed as the cocking effort is correct though.Honestly it feels more like 25lbs.Still it is a gun that will not wear you out to carry in the field and shoot without a rest.
Things I would have changed:Checkering would be nice. That would raise the cost though. The safety cannot be reengaged once it has been disengaged. The gun must be shot to be safe again. The bottom of the recoil pad has a tendancy to catch my shirt.Seems like the pad should be radiused at the bottom.I will correct this on mine.I added a Beeman compesator to it to add leverage cocking and I like the look. The compensator is factory bored 9/16".To use it I had to file the ridges down that are on the barrel to mount the front sight. Then the compensator needs to be bored out to 19/32" to fit the barrel. Tap it on with a rubber a mallet.Looks good and makes cocking easier.
What others should know:I put a compact Bug Buster fixed 4X32 AO scope on mine and it is a joy to shoot.I like to shoot paper off hand and this is the ticket.I like this rifle so much I am thinking about a custom stock for it. This is a very nice air rifle. You will never regret buying it. In .22 cal. this rifle will work fine on squirrels and rabbits out to 20 yds. Unless you have a specific need forget the magnums. They are too heavy, too hard to cock, too loud. Not really a lot of fun to shoot

Things I liked:Pleasure to shoot, quite and accurate. Varied pellets by design and weight. Extremely high quality air rifle. Purchased it in 1980 - still shooting it today. Speaks for its construction and reliable it is. Wish I would have purchased a scope for it.
What others should know:Keep it clean, tighten up the screws on the trigger guard every now and then; shoot way.

Things I liked:German Quality workmanship throughout. Good cost-to-value ratio, you can tell you're holding something very well made from design to execution of final product. This is a very very handy light-to-middle-weight contender if you're looking for something for light plinking, target, and small pest control that is quiet for use in the back yard. Added on adjustable rings with entry level Hawke 2-7 power scope and I'm in looooove! Light cocking effort makes for longer shooting sessions, with less 'tennis elbow' from cocking, and mild report keeps me under the radar with nosy neighbors.
Things I would have changed:.25 cal version just to be different.... I know it'd be too slow, but being a .25 afficianado, I'd buy it!
What others should know:Wife actually said she likes me shooting out the kitchen window now into the backyard, rather than gone at the rifle range. Wow! Thanks Wierauch and Air Arms for keeping me home for more quality time with Family! Maybe I'll ask Santa for a Theoben Eliminator? Hmm.

Things I liked:The rifle is well balanced and is beautifully made. The Rekord trigger is excellent, the fiber optic sights are bright and easy to use, and the action cocks very smoothly. This is a high quality Weihrauch rifle at a great price.
Things I would have changed:Add some blue Locktite to the trigger guard and stock screws.
What others should know:I bought this rifle for off-hand target shooting, and it fits that need perfectly. The .22 caliber pellets hit hard even at this moderate velocity.

Things I liked:THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE RIFLES. I BOUGHT IT IN 2008 FROM PYRAMID AIR. I BOUGHT THE RIFLE IN 22CAL. , I ALSO GOT THE OPIONAL DIOPLER REAR SIGHT AND A APPTURE FRONT SIGHT THAT CAME WITH PLENTY OF EXTRA INSERTS. THE WOOD IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE BLUEINGALSO. THE TRIGGER IS A EXCELLENT REKORD UNIT THAT IS VERY SMOOTH AND ADJUSTABLE .THE RIFLE IS VERY EASY TO COCK AND IF YOU LIKE TO SHOOT OPEN TARGET SIGHTS YOU WILL LOVE HOW ACCURATE IT IS.
      Things I would have changed:NOT A THING
What others should know:THE FAST DELIVERY AND THE PACKING OF THE GUN WERE ABOVE AVERAGE.THE SAFTY SYSTEM ON THIS RIFLEIS VERY NATURAL TO PUT INTO USE AND THE SCOPE RAIL IS NICE AND DEEP. YOU WILL KEEP THIS RIFLE FOR A LIFE TIME.
